    It doesn't default to microwave

This device works very well and does lots of things, but you'll need to study the instruction booklet very intensively. Without it, the average person won't be able to do anything at all with this oven. It's crazy to have a microwave oven that makes you specifically select the option 'microwave' every time you want to heat anything. That's right - even warming up a cup of coffee for 30 seconds requires two separate steps - because, hey, you might just as well want to use the grill or "hot blast" (Samsung-speak for convection). Also, the control panel is black with non-illuminated dull grey options. We have the microwave in quite a dim corner of our kitchen, so it is not always easy to see what's what. With all its experience of phones, etc, you'd think Samsung would know a thing or two about usability.

    Fantasytic Microwave

This is a lovely looking machine with so many different functions but very easy to use. Much bigger than conventional microwaves but just what I wanted. I am very pleased with it.

    Samsung HotBlast

Wow.....what a microwave. For once it’s a decent size, and you can use various sizes of plate by turning off the turntable, this is a first for me. They are lots of ways to use this machine, and I’m still working my way through a lot of them. Cakes come out very moist it hard to stop eating them. The hot blast facility for chips etc is extremely easy to use and very good........the only negative would have been the inclusion of a lovely coloured picture recipe book, and better printed instructions.......but for machine I would give 5+

I've had this for a week, and it's brilliant. The slim fry setting and healthy cooking settings are really useful. It deals very well with fresh and frozen. I roasted a chicken and everybody said it was much juicier than in a conventional oven. I also really like the fact that you don't have to wait for the oven to heat up like a conventional oven so it's so much quicker. Overall really happy with it.

    Brilliant Oven

Brilliant all round oven. Good internal size and microwave/hot blast/grill are perfect. Bakes cakes beautifully.

    Replacement for a Panasonic

My new combination microwave was delivered by a very friendly delivery driver. It looks very smart in the kitchen and so far I’ve used the hot blast and microwave settings with great results. Looking forward to trying the bread proving setting and cooking a whole chicken on combination setting, hope the chicken comes out moist and crispy as it did in the Panasonic. These kind of microwaves aren’t cheap but did get it at a discount price which was much appreciated and they’re definitely worth the money it saves me putting my large oven on for small items.

    Cooking with ease

Very impressed with the delivery. Only just getting used to using its full potential but I have to say it’s a piece of cake. Just read the instructions and enjoy the machines hard work.

    Really good and very versatile

I've always liked having a microwave as part of my kitchen equipment. I used my first one way back in 1970, it was an industrial-sized behemoth and basically did nothing more than reheating a single plate of food. But now I have replaced my last well used multi-purpose convection microwave with the "Samsung Hotblast" compared with rewarm type microwaves this beauty is a "Ferrari" and I am loving the things you can do with it... no more soggy! Relatively easy to use providing you focus on the initial instructions and its really powerful up to 900w on the microwave which is controllable all the way down as well. Its got all the bells and whistles you could possibly want. and if you had to with skill good timing and planning you could cook a full meal in it given that awkward moment when your main oven packs up... say for instance as mine did a few years ago on Christmas day. Love this new Samsung Microwave.
