Just like it says on the box, have only bought it for the cosmetic effect,lovely cosy glow and good heater if you need it

Looks lovely and not too big so fits nicely in our living room. The heater gives instant warmth when needed. Also really nice just to have the logs lit up.

Very lovely product. Looks very elegant and the flame effect is exactly what we were looking for. The remote control was a big plus as well.

The fireplace and fire are excellent quality and it looks wonderful in situ. I was concerned that the wood surround ordering it on-line but it is superb. The only problem is the noise of the fan. It could be a faulty unit, but it is very loud and even the television on mid to high volume does not drown it out in our small living room. Proportionately it is spot on and in a bigger room maybe the noise would be less of an issue? As hoped the log flame effect is lovely and gives a wonderful focal point, until your turn on the heat!

This fire is very good value. Very happy.

Nice little fireplace for our bungalow, looks cosy and at times, it is useful to quickly warm up our lounge rather than turning on the whole central heating. Easy to install and realistic flame effect.
