OK but needs fully adjustable shelves.
3/5
We wanted a big fridge freezer unit and the drawer style freezer compartment is what we were hoping for and will be very useful.
What is disappointing is the lack of adjustment for the shelf heights in the fridge. Our previous fridge was 24 years old and had several slots to adjust the shelf height and a "flip up" shelf section allowing for tall bottles to be placed on the shelf below. Our new unit has neither. But the single most disappointing issue we found is that it is impossible to stand up a small beer bottle on any of the shelves, in fact nowhere in the fridge except the door shelves. So in that respect we are worse off than before.
We will probably remove one of the shelves, which is a shame a we paid extra for a four shelf model, another feature which we were surprised wasn't a standard, as it was on the old fridge. The fridge is very quiet, no problems there.
The fridge doors are stiffer to open than the previous single door model. We appreciate that a double door fridge needs some kind of mechanism to allow each door to open independently and that's what makes it stiff. It's not too stiff and we are getting used to it.
The fridge stands on rollers and can only be pulled directly forward or pushed backward. To move it sideways you have to be careful. The roller edges are very sharp and we have made dents in our vinyl floor.
