Fridge not working freezing food shame looks lovley...have to now wait another week for engineers should just be relaced

Cheap and cheerful "American Style" fridge - bought this based on a favourable Which review, and it was great and everything was fine for 102 days... until... my son was just rummaging through the freezer looking for something, and one of the glass shelves disintegrated in his hand covering all the food below with broken glass - AND glass dust !! Cleaning out these so-called safety-glass shards there is a LOT of very fine glass fragments and powder... given that this freezer has an air circulation system to prevent frost means ANYTHING currently in the freezer that is not completely air-tight now has to be binned. Destroyed a few hundred pounds worth of food. Would NEVER buy this brand again, nor invest in any more food to put in this freezer until I build some new shelves myself out of something other than glass. Not worth the perceived cost saving - very disappointed. Wish I had not taken Which at its word and looked at Trustpilot first! Well - fool me once...

I am disappointed with this fridge freezer and wish I had seen it in the flesh before purchasing, where it has lots of space which is a plus the shelving arrangement could do with some improvements as they are too far apart so you have to stack items on the fridge side and the shelves are too deep so when you put items in the door rack you need to leave space on the shelf so the door can close, same applies to the freezer side. The improvements could be another shelf and more shelf guides on the side so you can adjust the fridge to your liking. Delivery staff were absolute stars getting it into the house so 5 stars to them.

We are really pleased with this product, the freezer is more than big enough and I like that it has handy shelves in the door as does the fridge. It is sturdy and looks good (we bought it in grey/silver) . I would definitely reccomend.

Had to return due to fault

Large capacity and stylish design. The information doesn't specify the amount of room the doors need to open. The placement shown in the video isn't possible in real life as the fridge needs to be about 8cm clear on both sides or sit 8cm in front from the other units - to be able to open the doors just to 90 deg. The video shows the fridge flush to a unit with both doors opening fully - a complete work of fiction. Measured the sound at 32DB vs 42DB on the label. However the pitch is very high and the noise it makes (almost continuously) is extremely annoying.

Excellent value for money fridge/freezer (American style). The layout of two vertical sections works very well and saves stooping down for the freezer every time as in some other similar units. The trick is to store the items used most often in the upper sections of both fridge and freezer sections. We wanted a unit with no water/ice dispenser which take up so much space for little real benefit and this unit is one of not many available without such a dispenser. Controlling the temperature is easy using the buttons in the roof of the fridge section. The unit was worryingly very noisy on installation, but whisper quiet when the feet are adjusted properly and some weight is in the unit, so panic over! The most striking thing was the price - well under half of the price of competitor’s products - and seems to deliver just what it needs to do. Rhetorical question: just how much better can a device for cooling things down really be? Certainly this fridge/freezer functions very well indeed. Nicely finished in slate grey (not really a match for stainless steel though), and the black option would, for us, have been just too much of a obvious feature. Highly recommended.

had to replace previous fridge freezer which was unrepaiable (7 months old) engineer was helpful, but process was longer than necessary. had to obtain refund and then reorder. refund was quick, but whole process meant nearly a month without. Would prefer to pay 50% more for a better built product. Do electronics have a self destruct button hidden for when warranty approaches??
