Having upgraded my iPad at significant cost I was initially annoyed at the additional cost of the latest Apple Pencil. However having now used it extensively for a couple of weeks I cannot fault it. Wireless charging when left attached to the iPad means it is always ready to go and it has made producing engineering drawings and graphics an absolute pleasure. The accuracy is spot on when selecting specific points in line drawings which has reduced the time spent trying to get the right point and having to zoom right in to make sure you get the point you require. In fact it is so good I use it almost all the time i'm using the iPad as the accuracy of it means selecting smaller text and links on websites is soooo much easier that using my fat fingers, and the screen stays cleaner for longer. So whilst it is costly I am pleased I purchased it. (And if I was ever to lose it I would replace it like for like).

iPad Pro not complete without it (so not convinced that Apple should be making users pay for them separately rather than giving them with iPad's as standard) but it is an amazing product that makes the iPad much more useable and fun.

The joy of my grandchildren being able to draw and write on an iPad is a joy to behold, nothing like this when I was a child, I think I can remember steel knibs in wooden pens and an inkwell, 78 years old now just for explanation and spell checks were unheard of.

The magnetic charging is very convenient and the battery life of the pencil is excellent, I have not seen it below 90%. The Apple Pencil 2 is simply the best stylus on the market. I have used many different drawing tablets from Wacom and other manufacturers but hands down the 2018 iPad Pro and Apple Pencil 2 is the best drawing experience I have ever used. The pencil is comfortable in hand and the double tap function speeds up workflow. If you have a iPad Pro, buy this!

Much more responsive than the first generation and the ability to charge and stick to the ipad is great.
