Dryer didn't get hot.

Great washing machine but the tumble dryer doesn't dry that well

Works fine, will be interested to see how it lasts as this machine represents an upgrade on the last one

Looks great and very easy to program, It does make a lot of funny noises whilst drying that turned out to be it taking small shots of cold water every couple of minutes to condense the moisture out of the clothes. Takes 4 hours to wash and dry a mixed load but 7-9 to do towels and bedding. I chose this model to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity rates and so serves it purpose well. I did feel the user manual could be more substantial having had to find out what the noises where on a googled forum. I was worried that something was stuck inside but this is apparently normal.

Hotpoint Washer Dryer is excellent i am very pleased with it this is my first washer Dryer i wished i had one years ago they are excellent.

Had a previous model that might be repairable but for reasons, I needed to buy a new machine. Although they've changed the display to white from amber, for me, they've spoiled the look of the machine with the writing on the dial. Having said that, I quite like it. It's quiet, it's fire and forget, and has numerous options which I'll never use. I like that I can put my work clothes in it on Friday and they are dry and can be folded up ready for the next week in a few hours. The last one lasted 3 years before the bearing went. Let's see if this one lasts longer. 3 years is not very good though.
