Very nice looking hob. I love the way it looks in the kitchen however the extractor is not as great as I thought it would be but similar to the hood ones. For recirculating make sure the extractor doesn't sit just below the ankles or all the air will just flow there.

One of only 2 that I could find to fit the hole in my granite worktop left by a broken Electrolux, Very expensive and nobody told me that I needed to buy ductwork to allow the use of a central extractor. The top.is made of shiny glass that seems to attract smudges and fingerprints. The instruction book is Like a test sheet from Mensa, But it works well

We are yet to use this hob as it has not been installed. It looks great however be prepared to spend another £400 on ducting if you want the duct out option. AO do not sell this. The only place you can order it from is the supplier who is based Italy. It cost us over £300 for 2kg worth of plastic ducting. We then had to pay £70 for tax after it arrived. I hope it is worth the price once we final use it…

Amazing hob, truly But unfortunately after 5 months the hob flap glass came unstuck (delaminated) somehow created a chip and a crack on the glass of the hob (from corner of flap cut out to bottom of hob pass the controls) Under Elica’s warranty, glass is not covered, so Elica made no effort to even investigate the issue and categorically dismissed our query. We are now left with a cracked hob after only 5 months of our kitchen refit At £1.7k we won’t be replacing it anytime soon

Looks amazing and extractor is perfect for the island. Really strong and pulls in a lot of air. Easy to take the middle parts off to wash. It's something to show off to guests too.

Only had it installed for a few days but so far its fantastic. 5 stars for the product. The installation instructions leave something to be desired though. Very confusing to the average person. We originally wanted to duct out but gave up because it was so confusing regarding which parts to buy and the fact there is no kit. With the recirculating option there is a kit you can buy ...but beware it is quite expensive. I think this product would work better if they had separate docuted/recirculating versions that came with the required parts (like the more expensive models). So whilst it was a pfaff to get installed we are very pleased. it is a beautiful piece of kit. Just need to keep it looking as good as it does right now!! :-)
