Previously had a Panasonic Microwave/Convector Oven and this was a replacement. Generally pleased but would have bought a model similar to my previous one had I known the heating element for convection cooking in the new one is the grill which remains on throughout the cooking process. This is not clear in the specification. Initially I thought there was something wrong with the oven as although I followed the instructions in the user manual exactly the dish I was preparing would probably have burned on top if I had not noticed in time. I phoned Panasonic customer services who checked with technical services and I only then learned that the grill was the convection heating element. As I had the oven less than two weeks Panasonic said I could return it and replace it with a flatbed oven where the heating convection oven element is not the grill. In the end I decided to keep the oven as I already have a traditional convection oven. I’m sure with more use I will eventually learn how to adjust the cooking time and/or protect the dish from overcooking when using the convection setting on its own. I’m delighted with the combination settings as there is a substantial time saving and what I have cooked in this mode has been perfect as have dishes cooked with Auto Cook programmes. Still learning so haven’t yet tried multi-stage cooking. Would have given a five star rating and not four if the grill was not the heating element when using convection mode.

This is a very high quality combination microwave oven. We've had a slightly earlier version of this model for some 20 years and found it very useful. As with all microwave ovens, the microwave generator had lived a long life usefully. The old machine still works for all its combination (non-microwave) functions. Also AO (ao) is a very reliable supplier: we have used them before a few times. Prompt delivery and great pricing too. Thank you.

Excellent product - using it a lot. Just cooked our Sunday roast beef, used auto-cook - beef was perfectly cooked. Found all the programs easy to use, very good instruction manual with lots of recipes Highly recommended

Solid performer - does what it says

I'm really happy with this purchase I've only used the microwave/oven function so far, things cook in no time at all, I did some bellypork with paprika and sun dried tomatoes and it was cooked perfectly I've also done a really nice jacket potato with a really lovely golden jacket that was done in about 10 minutes I'm looking forward to learning more of the features of this device, when I unboxed it, I wasn't sure if it was bigger than I expected however when I put it in place it fits perfectly this thing is certainly not an eyesore in the kitchen , the ascetics are certainly pleasing on the eye

I bought this microwave to replace a similar one and I find this one easy to use. Looks good on the worktop and seems to do everything it should. Look forward to getting to use all the different programs it has.
