    Great Looking Microwave

    5/5
I wanted a new microwave to go in my new kitchen. Having read reviews and checking Which best buys, I chose this one. All of my previous microwaves have been Panasonic and this is as good as its predecessors. It is easy to use and has various programmes which I haven't yet tried. The grill and convection are great. It is also very attractive in black.

Started to fail after 18 months

    1/5
Was OK to start with but some of the autocook programs don't cook the food fully so you can't go by the times displayed when cooking other food yo go with whatever is in the microwave After 18 months light use its started to switch off mid cook, not what you expect at this price point or age, had my previous microwave over 10 years

Dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century!

My old Panasonic microwave finally died after at least 20 years of regular use, so I went for the same brand. However this is an all singing, all dancing version which does all sorts of extra things. Most of the basic functions are fairly intuitive and I am getting to grips with the more complex stuff using the manual, which is clear and intelligible. The settings are much more subtle than the mechanical dial on my old one, and I have been pleased with the results so far. Looking forward to trying the more adventurous functions once I have grasped the basics.

    Crispy jackets in minutes

Seems pretty good so far. It's is larger than I imagined and needs a lot of space around it. The casing gets quite hot and steam is generated by the food cooking so you don't want to position it too close to anything else. Generally pleased.

    Disapointing

    2/5
Cheaply built - it has a very "tinney" and plastic feel to it. Display is VERY basic with minimal graphics display. It has a very noisy fan which sometimes stays on for a while after the timer time out. The alert sounder is quiet and very easy to miss if you are not listening for it. Overall, I am disappointed with the quality of this microwave!!

    Great for small families.

Bought this to replace a much older version of the same, which had started to look shabby after heavy use over 4-5 years. This is more powerful and does everything a bit better than the old version. We use our microwave every day and it saves on the energy cost of heating up a much larger oven if you are only cooking smallish meals. Great piece of kit. We gave away our old Panasonic, which still works fine, to a young couple who needed a microwave and they were delighted.

Great product so far loving the colour

Replacement for a 20 year old white version of the same - fingers crossed it will be as reliable. Loving the black in my kitchen. So far cooking really well on auto cook and combination as well as microwave only settings
