Bought to replace our old Panasonic microwave which gave good service, but after seven years it was starting to show its age. The new model is slightly wider (by 2-3cm) but the turntable is the same size. The increase in output to 1000W is welcome, as are the new auto-cook features. Buttons are not quite as touch sensitive as the old model but work fine when you know you need to listen for the beep acknowedging each press.

The overall functions on this microwave are really good. The auto defrost and cook is extremely accurate. It's a sleek looking model and the black mirror finish, although will show greasy finger prints, is easy to clean. The only thing I would say is missing is a dedicated button for purely defrosting. You have to press the power button three times to get to 270 power level then guess how long to set it for, but really I am be I g extremely picky here. All in all 5 out of 5 from me.

I'm a big fan of Panasonic in general for microwaves, so take my enthusiasm with a pinch of salt, but this product delivers on exactly what I am after. A simple, easy to use product. A lot of modern microwaves feel the need to have a 'drink reheat' button and a '60 second buzz' function, and I want none of it. Power> How long> Go. It should be that simple, and on this model, it is. This is a 1000w - but it includes a medium-high setting which sets it to 800watt, which is much more common on many cooking instructions, which means this has the power when you need it, but the convinience of a lower setting to save a lot of math. It also has the usual medium, low, and defrost settings you'd expect on a mid-high end microwave. Can't recommend it enough for what it does. So far, I have found no down sides. Would buy again.

I cannot fault this microwave, the size is very good and it is not to heavy to lift. Looks very stylish and the bright LED inside helps to see the food cooking. Chaos defrost is very quick and efficient. The microwave is quiet even on full wattage and the instructions are very easy to follow. This microwave was a brilliant choice and I highly recommend it to anyone.
