    Pathetic Panasonic’s customer support

    1/5
As a product, it’s a nice microwave but I am rating it 1 star due to pathetic customer service of Panasonic. I had a problem with the door of the microwave. If you are owner of this microwave then in general you can notice that the door of this microwave is not smooth if you open it completely. The one I had, it’s door was rubbing against something and didn’t felt stable. So I reached out to Panasonics’s customer support. They use to take weeks to respond and when they responded, it was rubbish. They tried everything to get rid of my complaints sometimes with absurd responses which never made any sense. Eventually AO stepped in and helped me to get the replacement. So, if your microwave works then feel lucky else you could end up with pathetic customer support of Panasonic. Going forward I will hesitate to buy any Panasonic products just because of their poor customer support.

Had Panasonic microwaves before and they have been great, however this model not as happy with, the keypad can be difficult to press.

Long overdue an all round update!

    3/5
This model was launched several years ago and it shows. We've had it for a month or so. The control panel isn't soft touch and doesn't have haptic feedback either. The controls invite a firm press which results in the whole microwave sliding on the kitchen top, unless you place it on a grip mat. It doesn't have a handle and has a mirrored finish on the front. Finger/hand marks are inevitable. The menu is not intuitive, with simple actions like reheating a drink needing several button presses. Perhaps most unforgivable is that the unit does not sit level, so rocks as it only has two rubber feet at the front! The pricing is at the higher end for a basic microwave (no grill, steaming, or convection fearires) but doesn't represent good value given all its shortcomings. Which? the consumer magazine raves about it though. In our case it was only recently purchased as a downgrade from a modern Samsung that was superior in almost every way until it developed the dreaded start button fault at approx 18 months old. Other than the above it's an ok microwave.

Standard Microwave Which Does the Job

    3/5
This is a standard microwave which works as described. The one thing which came as a shock is how noisy it is.

Shame you can't see what's going on inside

    3/5
Good looking appliance with excellent functionality, capacity, even heating and ease to opening. Shame that this is marred by the control keypad not being backlit and therefore hard to see. Incredibly annoying, however, that the interior light is so poor that you cannot see what is going on in the microwave. A recipe for boiling over and a major flaw. For this reason alone I would not buy again nor recommend the appliance.

    Good and bad

    3/5
Had my oven two weeks and tried a lot of different things. Main oven seems good. Reservations about top oven and grill is awful. The design and quality of the control knobs is poor - hard to believe whoever designed them has actually used the oven. Had my old oven 34 years and would still have it if I could have replaced an oven seal. It was definitely better quality than this one.
