When buying any new washer it’s always a bit of a ‘fingers crossed’ purchase having been use to out last Hotpoint for 16 years. However the new machine has been installed by AO and is a very simple machine to operate with lots of different programs for various washes. Been in a couple of weeks and very please with product and it’s ease of use. Hope we get the longevity and reliability of our old Hotpoint ????????????. Dsve.

Very good product. Reliable. Good selection of settings. Huge drum, will take a duvet. Only downside is that I previously had a 1600 spin speed and can notice the difference. Not as much water is removed with the 1400 spin, but then again for that reason it may last longer than my old machine.

Looks good ,I am an 84 year old so eye sight failing so simple to use .It’s so quiet (no it’s my sight not my ears) instructions are easy and the drawer to take the conditioner in is very accessible. The door lock clicks quietly and the big seal on the door is easily kept clean

The machine itself works fine and is quieter than other washing machines I've had in the past, however the drainage hose and power cable are both quite short too. The product turned up with some damage on the back and the drainage hose had a small amount of water in it, which leads me to think this isn't brand new. Will keep an eye on it in case it's faulty, but this will make me think twice about buying from AO again.

It's great that it takes such a big load BUT it has some extremely odd wash cycles. The ECO cycle may save you money but it runs for close to THREE HOURS! Sure, you're saving money on energy but your clothes are going to wear out much sooner after being tossed around for such a length of time. So we've switched to the 9Kg 45 minute wash. This one is faster but it ALWAYS fully fills (and heats!) the machine with water; our previous Hotpoint would automatically adjust the water level if you only had half a load. For other cycles, you can't change the temperature setting, so if you wanted to wash at a cooler temperature you can't. On top of that they don't give you a User Manual so you have to guess which wash cycle is the most appropriate. Clearly this machine's cycles were designed by a committee of former local authority staff who were smoking something they shouldn't!

Brought this one to replace my old Hotpoint which was 15 years old. This model has all the washes I need and more. Brilliant that even if when it starts you have time to pause the wash and add or take out something, eg my husband black sock got put in with my white wash, good job I saw it and was able to remove it. Couple of the washing programmes are very long but I tend to use the 45min full load wash and also the white wash. My last one was same 9kg capacity but this new drum and door are bigger. I’m very happy. I lawyer trust Hotpoint. AO.Com ordering and delivery service were excellent , we payed for them to unpack and take the packing away also take my old machine away, could not have gone better, the delivery men are a credit to your company, being able to track the delivery van was fun and the early warning telephone call much appreciated. Must add AO’s price was the best available. I have brought other items from AO and have always been happy with their service. My daughter, Son, two Sisters, brother and my two Grandaughters buy from AO and have used your price match. Thank you AO.com

Great washing machine! Love having the buttons rather than sensors to press as it makes it much easier to use!
