Fantastic picture quality, no paper instruction manual.

Having spent a huge amount of money to purchase this TV I would have expected a PAPER Instruction Manual on how to connect my other devices, operate TV in conjunction with the other devices, etc. The "manual" on LG's website has none of this and in fact simply shows how to unbox, fix it to a wall and explain buttons on the remote. The website User Guide has all the info but I am struggling to get accustomed to that. Oh for a proper, detailed manual which I had with my old Panasonic. Much easier to browse. The connections for other devices are shown in the Quick Setup Guide are shown with pictures but no explanation of what they are. Having said that, the statements I have read on screen picture quality, build, etc. are really true. Stunning picture. Side connections are a wonderful option, - no sticking-out wires to consider at the back.

if you want a great TV, this is the one you've been looking for.

There's a reason this is one of the best rated TV's, it's great, I got this to partner with an Xbox Series X, Sonos Arc & Sony 4K player. I now have the ideal gaming/movie setup and couldn't recommend it more, of course it doesn't come with a stand, so I had to buy one separately, and it does weigh a bit more than similar sized TV's, so will likely require 2 people to set up (especially if wall mounting), but it feels solidly built, has a ton of features and I just wish I had gone for an OLED one in the past, love it!

Buy a new telly every 10 years

I rarely change TV so it was a nice surprise to see 4k, though I feel sorry for the actors who all look more haggard than on my old set

    Upgraded LG TV

I love this TV, crystal clear picture, lots of apps available, connected to my devices automatically. This model also came with a wall bracket, which itself was excellent quality. In my opinion, LG are the best TV on the market, this is my 3rd.

    Don,t hesitate

Been looking at this TV for a while now, and not disappointed. Easy set up, with full instructions on screen. Superb picture and, sound fully adjustable to you own preference. Excellent TV, if you’re looking to upgrade your TV, look no further. Will need to buy a table stand if you don’t want to wall mount it.

LG OLED55G16LA 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD OLED TV

The TV is brilliant, everything you would expect from LG, but the only downfall is that it is not supplied with feet! (that's why I only gave it 4 stars). I paid to have it mounted on the wall and because I live in a 'new build' the walls are not strong enough to take the weight of the TV. So I had to pay another £100 for feet and have had to wait 5 days for delivery which is annoying, this was not clearly pointed out from the LG when buying the product. I have since complained to LG customer service.

    An Exceptional Product

The LG G1 is a great looking TV. The images it produces really have to be seen to appreciate what everyone says about OLED and black levels. HDR is fantastic, images really pop out of the screen given suitable content. The magic remote is great, it really makes navigation much faster. By using the remote as a kind of mouse pointer you can search for things just by pointing the remote at the object on screen. It's worth noting this is designed to be wall mounted and it doesn't come with a stand, however you can purchase an optional stand if required. Overall I am delighted with the LG G1, and would recommend it to anyone looking at something around this budget.
