    Very dissapointed

    1/5
Unfortunately can not rate most features due to not installing the cooker because of poor quality construction. Main problem is grill door which is very badly fitted with a large gap on one side and is not flush with oven door. After comparing with cheaper options which appear to have a better build quality this cooker will be returned. Rangemaster seem to think that a badly fitting door is acceptable so will not be replacing with another model of theirs.

    Disappointing.

    2/5
The weird shelf attached to the door is useless, but easily removed. I need to order a third shelf for the oven to replace it. No oven light when switched on is really odd so you can’t see the food well. The glass door gets dirty very quickly when doing a roast. Cooking temperature in the main fan oven is uneven. The timer alarm is awkward to set on a turning knob. The inside walls of main oven are a strange rough material that looks impossible to clean. Overall, quite disappointed with this purchase and wish I had bought a Smeg instead.

    Great product, poor delivery

    2/5
Very happy with the cooker we ordered. However the delivery was very unprofessional. Firstly they couldn’t park so we’re going to rearrange delivery (despite me paying nominated day) when they rang to say they were rearranging, I explained that me and my partner could move our cars so they could park directly in front of the house, this was met with lots of huffing and puffing thag gbeu had a tight schedule to meet. Sadly the icing on the cake was the two very large scratches on our new flooring that they made when delivering the oven. They shrugged and said they might fade over time. Overall not impressed with the standard of delivery or with staffs attitude.

Probably not worth the premium price tag

    3/5
So firstly : it cooks food in the oven and on the hobs perfectly adequately however if you were just looking for the minimum you probably wouldn’t be looking at this product. We bought the Rangemaster to replace a much cheaper brand range that we had had for a number of years and my comments are: Pros: Heats up quickly Even temperature Hob burners cook consistently The long oven will be great for cooking all the Christmas Day accoutrements Cons: Oddly doesn’t look as premium as I expected The doors don’t ‘catch’ easily when they close and often bounce open again mid cook (and not great when you don’t realise for half hour!) The roasting shelf attached to the oven door is small and renders the rest of that oven only appropriate for very flat food. Also if you cooked an uncovered roast you would open the spitting fat into the kitchen. It feels gimmicky and like an idea from someone who has never cooked a roast (I removed within a week) The timer/function knob feels cheap and like it won’t last The timer alarm is very quiet and you would struggle to hear it in another room The middle sized burners shouldn’t both be at the back It seems to get dirty just by me thinking about cooking! All in all, it’s fine because it cooks but I could have bought a cheaper product for that, surely.

Lovely range but may not be the best value

    3/5
Pros: Good range of burners Quick oven heating 2 fan assisted ovens Easy cleaning Cons: Value Grill too small Some finishes aren't to the standard expected Gimmicky attachments We bought this oven to replace an electric hob and separate oven and grill. First off, the gas hob is excellent althought the layout could be better. There are five burners, one small, two medium, one large and a wok burner. A useful variety and suits all of my cooking needs although the layout could be better with a medium burner at the front instead of both mediums being at the back. The burner covers are good quality and fit nicely without wobbling or much movement. The grill space is very small fitting 8 slices of bacon, our previous grill fitted 12 which was good for our family. The slide out grill is handy but certainly not a deal breaker, personally I feel that the slide out grill is a poor compromise for space. There are also some hotter spots under the grill but that may fade over time. The ovens heat very quickly so no hanging about for the preheating. I haven't had this long enough to see how well the linings work but others have reviewed them. The main oven has an attachment on the door with a tray on the top so whatever you're cooking swings out when the door opens. The tray has to be significantly smaller so the door can open meaning you can't fit a bigger joint in. There are two height settings that the contraption can be set to, neither is useful. On the lower setting there is not much space underneath to fit another tray. On the higher setting there is space to put a tray underneath but when the door opens you can't get into the tray underneath as it is covered by the tray on the door. The right hand oven is useful but the space is awkward, it will fit a square tray but I can't find any square trays. A very minor point but something I wouldn't have expected on something at this cost is the clock wobbles in its housing which makes me wonder about other potential issues that haven't shown up yet but could be lurking and will surface over time. The front plate also doesn't fit on with the front feet at the lowest setting. Overall this is a top of the range price tag on an oven that feels that it doesn't quite justify it. It would have helped if we could have seen and touched the product before we bought it but sadly this wasn't possible. I'd like to be able to compare this to the ranges from different brands that are about half the price to see if the drop in price shows reflects a true difference in the quality.

    Door problems......

    3/5
Hi, The item was delivered with a slight distortion to the side panel which caused the door to catch but this seemed to disappear after time. Now the door keeps popping open of its own accord which is a unsafe as we have a young daughter. We'll be reporting this to AO, the manufacturer.

    Pleased with my Rangemaster oven

    4/5
I am pleased with my Rangemaster professional plus range cooker. It is very attractive and looks very good in my kitchen. Cooks very well and evenly just trying to get used to where the gas burners are on the hob as different from my last range cooker. I think the wok burner might have been better positioned in the middle as opposed to the right-hand side. Really like having a separate grill. Delivery and fitting service was very good.
