    Good but noisy

    3/5
This is "plug and play" hob, powered from a standard 3-pin socket, so it is more limited in power than hobs that are hardwired in place by an electrician. Be aware that if you use more than two elements on max power, the hob will share power among them. It does this with switching electronics in the base and this makes a very audible and regular "clicking" that sounds like the ticking of a clock. It is not a quiet device! This is a known "feature" of this hob - we had a Bosch engineer out to look at ours and his service manual described the noise as normal - but there is no mention of it in the customer user manual. It's a perfectly good hob, but if this is likely to bother you and you have the wiring in place to hardwire in a more powerful unit, you might want to consider it.

    More power than expected

    5/5
Great induction hob, even with being a lower voltage it works really well. I was concerned having to get a 13 amp (old wiring in my kitchen) would not be powerful enough but it manages well with 3 hobs at at time (just not all at the top power). If I am using 2 hobs at a time (which is most of the time) then there is no issues with the power at all. It's boils water very quickly, much faster than gas!

    Neat hob, easy to install

    5/5
Very neat design and easy to install as a direct replacement for a gas hob. Once the gas safe engineer had capped off the gas supply the Bosch induction hob fitted into the hole in the worktop and plugged into the 13A socket previously for the gas hob. Some good features including cooking timer, power limiter, pan sensor.

    Good value for money

    5/5
Simple to use and versatile. The only thing I miss is that it doesn't show if the area is still hot after cooking, which all my previous hobs have done

Don't know why we didn't go to induction sooner!

    5/5
Works brilliantly, boost only available on one at a time but as this is due to our houses wiring requiring it to be on the 13amp plug rather than the product itself not a problem. When it is on, boils water as fast if not faster than the kettle! Some reviews mentioned noisy clicking sound when cooking, I haven't noticed this. It certainly isn't any louder than the gas noise of the old hob.

    Fantastic hob

    4/5
Hob works great - can boil water in seconds, can heat up milk for hot chocolate and mulled wine super fast. The joint heat zones works super well for our griddle pan for cooking steaks. I wish we had physical buttons these days, as cleaning this hob will always result in me activating it and getting an annoying beeping sound.

    Pasta in no time

    5/5
I've always been dubious of Induction Hobs, my experience of them have been older technology where the unit heats, then stops, then heats, then stops - this hob is fantastic, with a good and continuous heat throughout cooking making your cooking times very accurate. This Induction Hob replaced a gas hob, and we very much enjoy Italian food (pasta) - the hob's boost function means that we have boiling water in next to no time, adding the pasta and cooking for exactly 8 minutes and it's perfectly al-dente! I love the pan test feature too, which tells you if your pans will work efficiently with the hob or not!

    Great product

Never had induction before, I was definitely missing out. Easy to clean, easy to Use. Like the safety that it turns off when pan is off, so kids don’t burn themselves. Also my big casserole dish fits on perfectly.
