Doesn’t hold the weight of a 50” TV

This bracket doesn’t support the weight of a Samsung 50” TV. It only has two fixings. Absolutely gutted I purchased it! Now looking for a bracket with more fixings.

Secura Full Motion TV Wall Bracket

    1/5
Very easy to attach to the back of the TV but once mounted on the wall the cross plate was not straight and dipped down to the left even though a spirit level was used. Tried finer adjustments to the plate but to no avail so had to make adjustments to the fittings on the back of the TV to compensate. A sturdy bracket let down by the wonky plate.

    Screws too small

    1/5
This product came recommended with the TV that I bought, there was no way this would hold up a 65 inch tv with only 2 screws on the back plate. Furthermore the screws provided to go in to the TV to hold it were too small, they barely reached the holes without the inserts, and it was expected to also with the inserts AND the frame. Good quality metal though but doubt it would hold more than a 40 inch TV at best.

    Flimsy

Fitted by ao but seemed too flimsy. New brackets purchased and tv rehung to ensure tilt function could be used. Might just be as we’re wall hanging with sockets behind tv.

    Poor design

    2/5
This is a poorly designed bracket. It is attached to the wall with two screws, but the bottom screw hole is wide and permits the wall-mounted part to rotate. Due to the fact the mount then applies a rotational force when the TV is folded back against the wall, inevitably it then forces the wall mount to loosen and rotate. My TV, mounted by AO's team, is now wonky and rotates all the time. Might be OK for smaller TVs, but do not recommend for anything like a 55" size OLED

Wall fixings in one place only

    2/5
We decided to return this product and arrange a cheaper bracket to be delivered the next day which had 2 brackets that fitted into our plaster board wall. We didn’t feel this design would hold well although we didn’t test this.
