I ordered this as my VAX is on its way out. It is light and easy to use, the head is small so it's great for getting into narrow gaps, around the toilet and such like. However, I didn't look closely enough at the information - IT'S NOT FOR CARPETS, HARD FLOORS ONLY so I've had to order another vacuum for my carpets. Works great on wood and tiles though. Lasts for 40 minutes on normal suction, but only about 20 on turbo - be aware that it is automatically on turbo when you switch it on. No indication either that the battery is running out, it just stops working. The handheld is clunky and the crevice tool is very short, so not easy to use. The chamber is very small, you need to empty it regularly.

I brought this vacuum cleaner in a bit of a rush as I had just blown up my George (Henry's larger brother!) and I didn't want to pay the price of a Dyson as I've blown up 3 of them over the previous 10yrs! George had lasted me 7years but was heavy and cumbersome and everyone else hated hoovering with it. We have 3 labradors and I childmind so needed something that cleans really well easily. This does well for being a cordless, its light and pretty easy to manover the main Hoover is brilliant on the wood flooring but isn't great on my bumpy rug, just leaves bits in the grooves so you them have to use the handheld to get the bits missed which is a bit annoying. It does my downstairs (3 bed semi) when very dirty on one charge and just emptied the bin at the end which is ok as I don't tend to do the whole house in one go anyway. The handheld bit is great on the stairs the best I've ever had and the upstairs carpets cleaned ok as well (dogs aren't allowed upstairs so not so dirty). Overall it's a pretty good vacuum cleaner especially if you have laminated, tiled, wooden flooring or short pile flat carpet, and average sized house.

This vacuum is a godsend it is powerful enough, and I have a dog!!, it’s easy to use and so easy to carry up stairs for bedrooms and then clean stairs. One of the best buys I have made in recent years.

Possibly a little bit over the top to describe a vacuum cleaner as life changing but it my case this one certainly has been. My entire ground floor is hardwood and tiles and this glides across with ease picking up every spec of dust and hair and leaving no brush roller marks like my previous vacuum, and no hair to try and unwrap which saves so much time and frustration. The head is compact and very swively so it goes all around the legs of the dining chairs without me having to move them, and right into corners and tight spaces. It’s very quiet, especially on low speed, so I can zip around at any time of the day without disturbing anyone. Hand vac comes off easily and the turbo head is excellent on stair carpeting or rugs. Easy to empty, and the battery lasts long enough to go around my quite large ground floor a couple of times, especially on the lower speed. It’s so efficient and easy to use that I am happy to use it daily which saves me time and stress from having to get the big cleaner out and the house stays looking great. Couldn’t be happier with it, it’s very well made and the quality you’d expect from AEG. If you’re looking for something specifically for hard floors then this is definitely worth considering.

Very fast delivery and the Hoover is so good run time is so long would definitely recommend

Light and easy to use, picks up well. Little difficult to remove and empty dust box. Overall good value
