Like most, we purchased as a replacement to our blown microwave. We waited five days to minimise the delivery cost and the delivery itself was very good with a courteous courier. Well packaged and far more lightweight compared to our 15 year old microwave. The mirror door which doesn't allow you to see inside is marmite - you either feel the need to look at your cooking food or you love the fact it's a reflective surface that makes the boxiness of a microwave seem less dense. The instruction manual is good enough though my husband chose not to read it and then complained that he couldn't work it out - I know I'm not on my own there! You do need to read the operating instructions as guessing how it all works takes way too long. The control panel is all press sensitive so is a nice easy wipe clean. Personally, I found I had to press quite hard when just setting the time when first installing and that does concern me with regard to how effective that front panel will be over time. It cooks very evenly and the mid setting for warming up already cooked meat such as a dinner reheat, is fantastic and ensures the meat stays moist. Our last one was a 1000 kw microwave and this is a 900 kw ... honestly can't tell the difference on performance and cooking time so that's a bonus. I know other reviews have commented that it's quite noisy and I can only assume they've been very fortunate with their previous models, because it falls within a pretty normal sound range to me. It looked smaller inside than our other one however it easily takes a dinner plate and it is perfectly suitable for a family of four.

Very easy to use and looks good too

Nice and big and powerful. Bought it for it's size (and it's price). Couldn't fit a decent sized plate in my previous model without banging up against the sides. No such problem here. Would have given 5 stars but it is not the quietest microwave I have owned. Still it's only on for a few mins. because it's 900w. Some complain that they can't see the food cooking through the mirrored door.....I cover my food when I cook it so neither can I.

This is a very sleek looking microwave. It has a powerful 900 watt output and lots of different functions; cook, reheat, defrost. Can be used from 100% down to defrost which is 20%. Clear instructions are included as to what setting to use for casseroles etc. Large interior which is another plus. I would definitely recommend buying this microwave if you need to replace one in your kitchen. Suitable for larger families. A great small appliance and I reccomend this for any household ??????

This is a beautiful microwave which is awful to use. The buttons work intermittently. I had to call Sharp to set the clock because it just didn’t! Finally I achieved it after having to switch it off and back on again. I had the same problem reducing the power level, again calling Sharp. I was advised to once again switch it off and back on again, however then obviously the clock needs to be reset! I reduced the power level eventually only for it to reset to 100%during use. This ruined the cakes I was making! I called Sharp and explained how much I hated this microwave, they’ve given me a reference number so that I can return it, however with Easter AO can’t verify this, so my fingers are crossed it’ll be done on Tuesday.

Looks brilliant, performs just as well. Easy to use and simple instructions. Can be prone to the odd fingerprint mark though .

Great microwave, very powerful at 900w and has a light. Also roomy, no longer have to tilt plates to fit as with my previous microwave!
