Well designed and looks great. So quiet which we like because it's in our open plan kitchen. Love the handles at the side of the doors, nothing sticking out. Very pleased with it.

Fantastic looking fridge freezer with plenty of space, though still getting used to the 60/40 split. A good, clear digital control panel inside is easy to use and it's nice to have a frost free freezer for once. I'm surprised at the number of people who buy appliances without measuring the space they intend to place it before ordering... Cheers to AO!

However, it is a very large model (be careful to measure your space) & the initial cost may deter budget-conscious buyers.   Pros: Efficient Cooling: great at keeping food fresh and at the desired temperature.It includes a frost-free feature for the freezer, minimising the worry and time spent on defrosting especially if you have a busy life/family. Touch controls & integrated handles; the touch controls can be child locked and ensure easy change of fridge and freezer temperature to ensure it’s running correctly for you. The mode changes to eco or holiday to ensure you’re getting the best use at the time you need it. Integrated handles ensure little heads don’t get bumped and hands don’t get trapped as it makes it harder for little ones to open meaning no unsightly locks. Its Spacious: The fridge and freezer compartments are well planned and organised, adjustable shelves and drawers (on runners) mean easy access and less faff, providing amazing storage for a growing family! Cons: Price: AEG appliances often come with a premium price, making it not everyone’s first choice when we are being budget conscious. Thought I would measure the space it was going into night before delivery. Very foolish as did not fit after a few cutting of worktops got in just. Very impressed by the inside design. It has handles are part of the door opening with left hand, being right handed it says can change door but space not permitted. I like the 2 draws for keeping salads and the like fresh for longer this is the best feature. When you open there is a nice fresh feel to it compartments are laid out nice. The frost free freezer is a must and very good would highly recommend. Lesson learnt measure up first Had the fridge freezer now over 4 weeks. We bought the larger (2m tall) version of this when we had our kitchen refitted, and have been really impressed with it. So, when the one in our internal garage needed replacing AEG was the first brand we looked at. I love anything in stainless steel and decided to buy the "smaller" (it's still huge) version. It looks fantastic and has loads of storage. The extra chill drawer and the humidity control drawer are handy for keeping items fresh for as long as possible.

The AEG 6000 Twintech® Freestanding Frost Free Fridge Freezer at 186cm tall was perfect for the space (I’m glad the measurements were accurate or I would have had a problem). It looks great in brushed steel (fingerprints, are a usual issue, but easily wiped). The handles are indents in the door, which takes a bit of getting used to. You can move the doors to open the other way, there are instructions included. The fridge is large and light with leds at the top. Quality glass shelves with 3 door shelves for bottles, eggs etc.; which seem pretty sturdy. The fridge at the top makes it easier to get regular items such as milk. The very large crisper at the bottom of the fridge is great for keeping your fresh fruit and veg for longer, at a cooler temperature. There is also an extra chill drawer has a lower temperature for cheese and fresh cuts. The humidity controller and multiple air flows is designed to keep food fresher longer; you can certainly feel the cool when you open the fridge.. The freezer has two sturdy draws, 2 large and one smaller. The ‘no frost’ feature sounds good. There is no light, though as you would expect, as difficult to locate in a packed freezer. The control panel allows you to adjust the temperature in the fridge and freezer, though the default will be fine for most. There is also a super freeze option; which can freezer a large quantity of food extra quickly.. There are egg containers and ice tray included. You can sign up for a 2 year guarantee by calling AEG. All in all I am very pleased with the appliance.
