The AEG 6000 Twintech® Freestanding Frost Free Fridge Freezer at 186cm tall was perfect for the space (I’m glad the measurements were accurate or I would have had a problem). It looks great in brushed steel (fingerprints, are a usual issue, but easily wiped). The handles are indents in the door, which takes a bit of getting used to. You can move the doors to open the other way, there are instructions included. The fridge is large and light with leds at the top. Quality glass shelves with 3 door shelves for bottles, eggs etc.; which seem pretty sturdy. The fridge at the top makes it easier to get regular items such as milk. The very large crisper at the bottom of the fridge is great for keeping your fresh fruit and veg for longer, at a cooler temperature. There is also an extra chill drawer has a lower temperature for cheese and fresh cuts. The humidity controller and multiple air flows is designed to keep food fresher longer; you can certainly feel the cool when you open the fridge.. The freezer has two sturdy draws, 2 large and one smaller. The ‘no frost’ feature sounds good. There is no light, though as you would expect, as difficult to locate in a packed freezer. The control panel allows you to adjust the temperature in the fridge and freezer, though the default will be fine for most. There is also a super freeze option; which can freezer a large quantity of food extra quickly.. There are egg containers and ice tray included. You can sign up for a 2 year guarantee by calling AEG. All in all I am very pleased with the appliance.

On first impressions I was very pleased with the style of the fridge freezer. It has plenty of room and a great split for both the fridge and deep draws for the freezer. I love the doors as they have integrated handles that sit within the doors reducing the possibility of external damage. there are plenty of shelves in the fridge and they are adjustable in location. The door spaces are deep which is great as it maximises the internal space. The smart LED is a nice touch and lets you know what temperature you fridge and freezer are at. The light when the door is open is very good also and makes looking inside the fridge vey easy. It’s a super simple set up and looks well made. Overall a great product.

With the kids all having left home we wanted to downsize the freezer and upsize the fridge. This AEG 6000 TwinTech is just excellent because I can see everything in the fridge now at eye level, it is light, bright and airy and of course frost free which is amazing. The extra chill drawer is the best feature in my opinion because when you defrost food you can pop it in there and it remains fresh and super chilled for much longer plus you can quickly chill food and drinks that you might want at a lower temperature. I know my kids will be using this for their extra cold coke zero when they visit and I've even got a bowl of ice cubes in there so I can use them one by one instead of them all sticking together in a lump in the freezer! Perfect for my G & T s!. So my new fridge freezer is in our utility room where it runs super quietly. It's easy to use, there is loads of space, (much more than I had previously), so no precariously perched items on top of each other, a place for everything. The freezer space is just right for the two of us and although it's less than we had before it's quite enough and again all frost free. I like that the fridge has an alarm for if you leave the door open too. All in all a great price for lots of great features. When I chose this model it seemed to have everything I needed at a reasonable price compared to other makes and models. Mine is in silver and it's not got any hand marks on it, it still looks like new after two weeks of use. The temperature display is easy to operate and see and it seems to have great power efficiency, much better than our old frosty appliances. I'm super pleased and would highly recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised by the layout and the space this fridge freezer has. We were able to turn the appliance on just three hours after receiving delivery. There are displays to indicate the temperature, and an alarm if the door is left open, which is really handy! The fridge space seems light and airy with extra drawers for cold cuts and another for fruit and vegetables. On plugging in the appliance I was a little concerned about the noise level, however a few days in this has subsided so think it may just be when reaching optimum temperature. The only slight issue is that the appliance doesn't seem to have the spacers on the back as detailed in the instructions. Frost free so far too, which is delightful and was the main reason for wanting a new fridge freezer.

Great fridge Freezer with some well thought out features. We are about a month into ownership and the product is definitely frost free, the clever false wall in the back of fridge stops frost and you can't over fill it the fridge as there is always that void for air circulation. also there is no ice build up in the freezer. For a big Fridge Freezer it is really, really quiet. We upgraded from a 250 litre 50/50 fridge this has the same amount of freezer space and then the extra space you really notice is in the fridge. All in all great product. highly recommend.

My first impression was that this was a stylish and spacious appliance both inside and out. I really liked the the larger proportion of cooler space to freezer. The thin shelves allowed for more food space within the appliance. The freezer space is more than adequate for general weekly use, and the frost free element is a really attractive selling point. Perhaps a 'Quick-start' sheet on what to do with the controls and how long to leave it after switching on before filling with food and drink would really help. Overall, my first impression has confirmed our choice of AEG as a good decision for this fridge freezer.

It has efficient cooling; meaning no more frost, it has design features that make better use of the space in the fridge/freezer. We found the Touch controls & integrated handles a great addition! The touch controls can be child locked and ensure easy change of fridge and freezer temperature, mode changes to eco or holiday to ensure your getting the best use at the time you need it. Integrated handles ensure little heads don’t get bumped and hands don’t get trapped as it makes it harder for little ones to open meaning no unsightly locks. It’s so Spacious; The fridge and freezer compartments are well planned and organised, adjustable shelves and drawers (on runners) mean easy access and less faff, providing amazing storage for a growing family! We only had one con of this fridge freezer and that was Price. The brand AEG appliances often come with a premium price, making it not everyone’s first choice when we are being budget conscious.

I was looking for a fridge freezer. After reading all the reviews and friends' recommendations I decided to buy AEG. I was a bit worried about the size but 6000 Twintech® freestanding frost free fridge freezer is spacious. It's deeper than my old fridge freezer and it makes so much difference. Now I have enough space for all my vegetables in the salad crisper drawer and hopefully humidity control will prevent all the water condensation inside the fridge. In my opinion one of the best benefits this appliance has is open door alarm. If someone leaves fridge door opened it will alert you. Twintech® no frost technology means that cool air moves around and keeps food moist, also doesn't let the ice to build up. Freezer has 3 shelves but they're deep enough to store plenty of food. Love the colour. It's stainless steel apparently with antifingerprint. It might not leave fingerprints but every single stain is clearly visible. All I do is clean it. Even with my old white fridge freezer didn't have to do it that often. Overall 5 starts from me. Would recommend it anyone.
