Great looking fridge/freezer with excellent use of space, a high quality finish, and easy to use controls. The ice maker works well and the filtered water is excellent (chilled and tastes better than direct from the tap). Only one complaint - the water filter is not within the fridge (as we have had on past fridges), but is external to the unit and therefore if you have a fully enclosed space then you either have to pull the fridge out to replace it, or arrange separate work to modify cabinets and get the filter plumbed through into a more accessible place.

Product is an updated version of one we previosly owned. It is a solid unit which dispenses ice and cold water very effectively. The controls have been placed inside the unit away from tiny fingers and there is a light in the freezer compatment too. It is a little quieter in fact than it's predecessor. A major point to explore before buying is to check that the unit will fit into your home. I have patio doors at the back and into the kitchen which is where the unit was brought in. I was told however that the unit would not have fitted through our front door if that was our only way in. So please check. If you want it upstairs then consult AO or a specialist builder before you attempt it, because this unit is heavy and not easily managed on stairs or around corners. Check lift capacity if using a lift to upper floors!

Excellent fridge freezer providing huge amounts of space which is extremely well designed.

Attractive, well finished, and uses every cm of space which is designed sensibly

I took a long time deciding and reading reviews before I chose this fridge freezer. I particularly liked wanted a plumbed model with French doors. I was replacing a gloss black fridge freezer and when I found the black steel version from Fisher & Paykel, my decision was made. The fridge has so much more capacity than my old side by side model. It’s really easy to see and access everything and I particularly liked that the fruit and vegetable drawers are at such a great height. I love the deli drawers below and all the wonderful fridge space. The ice box is the freezer is great and having this and chilled filtered water encourages me to drink much more water. I love the pull out freezer drawers. No more things falling out from perilously piled shelves. The controls are wonderful and discreet inside the fridge and I’ve downloaded the app although yet to use it. I love my new fridge freezer and it’s getting lots of compliments.

4 stars as the fridge freezer is great but comes with an external filter which I find is way more inconvenient than being able to open the fridge and change the water filter as in our previous Samsung. This one needs a hose that feeds into the water filter and the filter is then either attached to the wall behind the fridge freezer meaning you have to pull the whole unit out to change the filter and you can’t push it back as far as you’d like or you can make a hole in a cupboard and feed the hose and filter through to access it in there. However, it is sent with a very short plumbing water hose meaning we had to wait until we could buy a longer hose which isn’t sold just anywhere! So it took a few days before we could actually plumb it in and now the filter is just propped on the top of the fridge freezer looking a little messy as we haven’t got round to making a hole in the cupboard! Otherwise everything as you’d expect and hopefully it will last given the amount paid for it!
