Clever gadget :)

I have only had this a few days and have so far cooked porridge - no stirring needed and didn't stick to the bottom, a small dome shaped cake, a fried egg, cream cheese--which came out really well!!, and steamed some broccoli. I will definitely be using it more. Would recommend.

Present for Mum

I purchased this for a present for my Mum. At 74 she was struggling with cooker, pots and pans etc- she loves this piece of kitchen equipment and manages full meals using it. ???????? Mum has noNproblem at all using the different and versatile options. would certainly recommend

I have looked at these products over and over again. WHY did I waste my time. I wish I hd just bought it straight away. This has to be the best thing I have ever bought. And AO were great no issues arrived when they said it would. 10/10

Teal multicooker 45

What a fantastic piece of kit. I don't know how I managed before. I wish I had bought it long ago

Fantastic Multi cooker

I was originally looking for just a simple rice cooker for my wife but the good ones seemed a bit pricey for only one function. It made much more sense to spend a little more and get a multicooker, and after some research the Tefal came out as being one of the best for the price. I've so far used it to cook basmati rice, chicken byriani, spicy vegetables and fish. The controls take a little getting used to and the included instructions are in very small print. The default settings for standard things like rice or baking vegetables generally work OK but you need to monitor and adjust timings to get the particular results you want e.g. I like my veg nice and soft but my wife likes then crunchy, so less cooking time is required. The cooking chamber is nice and big and feels very solid. It would have been nice to have some handles that could be clipped on to help with lifting it out of the cooker. Cleaning is easy and most parts will go in the dishwasher (or wash by hand). The sturdy handle means the cooker can be placed anywhere there is a mains socket. Unfortunately the mains lead is quite short, but is a standard 'kettle lead' type so can be replaced. There a many features I've yet to try but this is a great cooker. You just need to spend a little time learning how to get the best results for you.
