Great Fridge/freezer. Large and it looks good. Very happy with our purchase

The fridge looks lovely and is very spacious. I have only given it four stars because of the water dispenser. Our old fridge (Samsung) the water dispenser was easier to use as you pushed the glass / cup against a lever. This fridge you need to use your hand as well to push against the panel at the back. Just a bit more fiddly.

Nice fridge freezer. Vs older model I liked the grab handles on the doors better than the recessed ones in this. You have to turn your hand backwards, which is a weaker position to open the quite heavy doors. Might be a consideration for some, in which case I’d suggest you go to a store to try it. Looks sleek with the stainless doors but the sides are not colour matched so you will see the 2 tone look if it is free standing. My old model rusted around the water dispenser so these stainless doors should stop that. This has an external filter vs my old model which was internal. It has to be put somewhere. Fine if you are building it in, you can put it in a cupboard but not so good if freestanding. I’ve rested it on top but it’s not ideal. I’d still recommend it if you can live with these niggles.

The fridge and freezers compartments are spacious. I was unaware that the water filter does not have a place on the rear of the fridge. As we have a fitted kitchen it was not possible to house the filter as close to the fridge as would have been ideal.

Great looking piece of kit and very roomy however still waiting for final electrics fix so not been able to power it up yet. Some cosmetic damage to a grille on the bottom at the back so hopefully nothing damaged behind it.

Our previous Samsung American style fridge freezer lasted 13 years, so we replaced it with another Samsung, its the same outer size and water connection, but with an external water filter. Good shelf sizes, in both fridge and freezer, the water/ice dispenser could be larger and have a better spill capture, but still a very good appliance.

It appears well made. It’s definitely quieter than our old Neff American Fridge Freezer it replaced. We’re missing a separate salad drawer. The water dispenser takes some getting used to - you don’t rest a glass and fill it, there’s a pressure plate at the back that actuates at the top - making drinking bottles and smaller glasses a 2-handed process to avoid spills (which it does easily as only a very shallow drip-collecting area). These are just minor gripes that’ll take a little getting used to. It looks and feels higher quality, and is definitely quieter than our 12yr old Neff one - and the data sheet says it’s more efficient - only time will tell…
