Not impressed. Leaking after 2 months.

This has been a very disappointing and regrettable purchase. The dishwasher started leaking after 2 months, leaving a puddle of water on my floor. The technician attempted to fix the leaking door but it's still dripping. Also, there's a "new", chemical odour that is unpleasant and doesn't seem to dissipate with use. I expected much better from this purchase.

Awful buy

Less than 2 months in and it's dripping water out the front. I don't believe it. It also smells strongly on every use, especially the hot cycles. Avoid.

Our 10 year old Neff dishwasher failed so a replacement was needed. This appeared to be the updated version so I was expecting it to be much the same as the old one, maybe with the odd improvement. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Neff have changed the dish racks just a little. Where you could fit two-three rows of glasses/mugs down the right hand side of the top rack. You can now only fit 2 rows. The space for the right hand side of the rack to the dividing pins is smaller and the second line of mugs have to go over them eating in to the space the other side. A Large handle has been added to the front of the lower rack, i cannot say i ever had any difficulty pulling the rack out in my old machine however this handle now makes it very difficult to slip the odd piece of cutlery into the basket without pulling the whole rack out. Our old machine had an excellent 30 min cycle. However this one is set as a default to a 3 hr supposedly eco wash. At busy times like Christmas this is incredibly inconvenient. Though there are some slightly shorter programmes available on this model I have yet to manage to change the program form the default and I have read the manual several times!! I will try to end on a positive the machine is a lot quieter than the old one however this is just as well as it is on for so long.

If it lasts 20 years I will upgrade this review!

Direct replacement for previous NEFF but a nightmare to fit as not the same height though thankfully width and depth OK. Brackets that should stop it moving are so flimsy that they don't.(The old one was as bad in this respect - brackets identical 20 years on) You will save yourself a lot of time if you just bin the fitting instructions without reading them. I guess a professional kitchen fitter with experience of this particular machine would find it easier than I did, but I think even they would end up taking half a day and using most of the tools in their toolbox by the time they had hacked up the kitchen cupboards etc. On the + side it is quiet and seems to work well.

Average build quality but it does cleans the dishes

Bought one of these to replace a similar spec Neff dishwasher that was about 13 years old. The build quality is not as good as our previous one. Although the interior is stainless steel the trays feel very light and less robust than the previous model. Dare I say cheap even. They don't roll in and out as smoothly either, with a lot of wobble from side to side. Part of me wishes I'd kept the trays from our previous dishwasher before it was taken away. That said, it cleans and dries the dishes very well and we've had no cause to use any setting other than a 1 hour quick wash, even with very dirty dishes (our previous model did this in 24 mins though!) Installation was a straight swap too, identical plumbing connections and even the holes positions for the door were the same. Overall it's very good at cleaning the dishes but the build quality could be better, particularly from someone like Neff.

Great product, although the product was a little smaller than our previous one we can get more dishes in it. The bottom draw lets you wash your larger plates, dishes and houses the cutlery holder which is quite big. The top draw for mugs, glasses and bowls etc. Both drawers allow you to make some adjustments to the layout of the dishes. It's quiet and having an LED light on it indicating that it is still in cleaning mode is very useful.

Very Quiet and Drys Really Well

This Neff replaced our old Bosch dishwasher. The previous one served us very well but after 8 years it was not economical to repair. Unfortunately due to supply chain problems due to Covid 19 I was unable to purchase Bosch so instead went for Neff. Not a disappointment, it performs very well on most settings however any really dirty plates requires the 70 degree setting. In a nutshell if you are looking for a quiet dishwasher this is the one for you, its so so so quiet a baby could sleep next to it. Hopefully Neff will not let me down with its reliability either as I feel its worth paying that bit extra for quality.

Quick service from AO.

This was purchased to replace a Kenwood dishwasher, which has always been noisy and has not lasted very long. It has not been fitted yet, as it is part of a complete kitchen refurbishment due in a couple of weeks. However, I nearly always use Neff and Bosch appliances (essentially both the same) and, although more expensive, they usually prove their worth. I expect this to be the same.
