Absolutely lovely machine, looks good too

    5/5
This is a fantastic little machine. So easy to use. Have used it every day for a week now and no problems. This is my first espresso machine so did not know what to expect but hoped to be able to make something similar to a cafe style drink. It can be totally automatic if you want or you can be a barista. The milk steamer works like a dream. I especially like the option to raise the milk temperature as I like drinks really hot. You can also alter the amount of foam in the milk with three setting or you can do this manually if you know how to steam milk..The only time I had a trouble getting the coffee holder in place I realised I had overfilled it, just use the razor tool to level to the correct amount and it fitted very easily. I took a long time deciding on this machine and I’m not disappointed. Looks very neat in the kitchen. I would recommend this machine.

    Very good coffee machine

    5/5
Although my current grinder isn't quite up to the task, I could make very tasty americanos and lattes straight out of the box using the single wall basket (haven't tried the pressurised basket but expect good shots out of good pre-grounded coffee) / auto milk function. What I like (aside from the machine's compact footing and looks) is that it will give me room to learn and then tune in barista skills in addition of getting really good coffees from home. Totally worth the price ??.

    Sage bambino plus

    4/5
Relatively compact machine which is exactly what I wanted to fit in my small kitchen. I wanted smart looking stainless steel as an upgrade from my plastic pod machine, though I hadn’t anticipated how smudged the steel would get. The machine is quite light so when you insert and lock the in place you need to hold the machine to stop it moving, hence the smudges. I like the option for automatic or manual functions. The drip tray sits loosely at the bottom of the machine, I’d prefer it if it clicked in to place. Overall really pleased with the cup of coffee it produces.

    Great little espresso machine.

    5/5
So I have had the bambino plus for a couple of weeks, after my Gaggia baby dose gave up on me. I haven’t figured everything out or tried everything but there are a few standout features. Firstly, it is really compact, check the dimensions it’s not much bigger than a capsule machine. Automatic dosing really is great, literally press the button and you can carry on doing other things like chase after toddlers, without worrying about getting your espresso volume bang on. The auto milk steamer is great, produces much better milk than an Aeroccino or anything I have ever tried, however, although the automatic cleaning is handy, the milk expelled can be a bit messy and you end up with watery milk in the drip tray, so really you end up emptying it on every use - no big deal but maybe a hassle if it’s not near your sink. The water tank does have a filter, and you are meant to change every 3 months, they cost about a tenner each. Overall, a great little machine, that produces great tasting coffee.

    Upgrade from Duo Temp Pro

    5/5
We've had Sage coffee machines for about 5 years now and we drink a lot of coffee! We had the Duo Temp Pro twice before (we killed it after an excessive amount of coffees and not regular enough maintenance). I prefer this one: it offers a 'walk away' experience. You can program your shot extraction length so all you do is push a button. The milk is automatic and it makes a gorgeous cuppa. It has built in idiot features like it won't let you make a shot without enough water in the tank, it will tell you when it needs a clean and descale. In my busy life, these are valuable. The only down is that it doesn't seem quite as solid and heavy as the Duo Temp Pro, but for me, so far (1 week in) I am in love!

    Great for the price

Well built, makes a nice cup of coffee and for the price performs well. Auto milk is a nice touch as my girlfriend has very little interest in getting too involved with the ins and outs of espresso.

    Really good.

I’ve been using for 2 weeks now and started to get my work flow a bit slicker and you can make a Coffee pretty quickly with minimal clean up time. The pre-heat time is great, no waiting time required and switch over steam wand is also quick. My bugs are: could do with being heavier as the machine moves during portafilter lock-in. Second bug is the basket is too tight in the portafilter, making it difficult to remove and clean. Apart that would recommend.
