I had only been using for just over a week and noticed lime scale build up on the top of the kettle where the handle joins the body. Also corrosion on the lid. Customer service advised me this is caused by steam coming from the kettle and drying and is not covered by manufacturers guarantee. Steam coming from the handle where it joins the kettle wouldn’t this be a safety issue? Not happy with Swan at all won’t buy from them again.

Worst kettle that l have ever purchased. Had two of them now as the first one was replaced due to limescale forming on the exterior. The second is equally poor. The chrome is now coming away from the lid and not 12 months old yet.

Smart, colourful and it boils water too!

Lovely retro kettle, quiet and quick boiling. I bought it to replace a red SMEG kettle which was dreadful and had loads of limescale on the outside. It would be good if the lid was hinged but it’s not a huge problem,
