    Disappointed

I was really excited about my new coffee machine however I'm really disappointed. Its flimsy and it constantly leaks from the back. Save your money!

Great looking - Good Price - Easy to use

    5/5
After looking through many reviews on many different expresso coffee machines under £150, I decided that out of all of them (about 10 different models) this machine, the Swan Retro SK22110GN Green, came out tops for quite a few reasons. 1, This model with its retro look, stands out above all other square looking machines. 2,Good choice of colours to choose from 3, Very reasonably priced. 4, Looks more expensive than it actually is, because of its design. 5, The price, and ease of use. Finally it comes well packed with good easy to understand instructions. and is very easy to use. Follow the instructions before you actually start brewing your first cup, and you can't go wrong. I flushed the system through several times before making my first cup, this gets rid of any odours that may be present on any new product. I am not a black coffee person, nor is my wife, we both prefer Lattee/Cappuchino, and this machine makes them, just as nice as any high street coffee shop. A few tips to make good hot coffee. Use the double shot if you like it strong and place your mug/cup under the puk, having first warmed the cup using hot water. Once it has finished brewing, about 20 seconds, use a stainless steel jug to warm and froth your milk to about 65degrees Celsius. Pour the hot milk directly into your mug/cup of expresso coffee and finish off with a frothy top. So pleased with this machine, its stylish, simple to use and makes a great cup of coffee, ant time of the day. I think I chose well with this Swan Expresso Machine.

    Not for me

It's an OK machine...not really worth the money. It's very plastic-y and the coffee grounds are always soaking wet when you empty it. Crema is plentiful, but it's all bubbles. The water tank is good, no leaks or drips and a great size. Coffee-wise, I've had better espresso from my £30 Amazon cheapie. I wouldn't buy this one again.

    Good all round product.

Looks good. Fits retro design. Colour range fine. A little fiddly when first making coffee. Is it heat milk first or coffee into cup first. Did watch videos online to find out more. We decided heat milk first. Caution there is one video where demonstrator makes a lot of mess which, had I seen prior to purchase, would have put me off. Happy to say No mess when I make the coffee Overall I am pleased with product. Good value for money.

    Very satisfied

I absolutely love this machine! It is a very good replacement for my expensive broken machine. It makes great coffee with a good half inch of 'crema'! My only concern is that the handle feels quite flimsy but hopefully I can get a repkacement if needs be. All in all, very satisfied ??

For the price I don't think it can be beaten.

I picked it up in the sale and have been thoroughly impressed by what you get for the money. It makes decent espresso and the milk steamer, although slightly underpowered, works fine. I've had the machine for approximately 2 weeks and have used everyday so far. The machine is plastic and easy to clean. You don't notice it's plastic until attaching or removing the filter which is stiff at times, needing one hand on the side to hold the machine steady which flexes the plastic. The delivery was remarkably quick. I'm not sure how long the machine will last, especially when used regularly, but it's relatively cheap to replace and in a year or two I will probably buy another one.
