Perfect for limited space, you won't be disappointed!

This is our first dishwasher. We didn’t have room for a full size one so needed a slimline model. This one comes with a cutlery tray rather than a basket, as we were compromising on space this seemed the best option. It really does give you a lot more space in the bottom. The adjustable middle shelf is very useful and helps to make the most of the available space, it can be moved both up and down depending on load and is very easy to do. Once you get use to placement of items you will be surprised with how much you can get in. There was a grey rubber strip loose inside the dishwasher, this is for if you want to remove the top and install it built under a worktop instead of freestanding. The strip attaches to the bottom of the dishwasher to cover the gap that will be left when you raise it to the height of the worktop (See Installation Instruction sheet). It’s early days but so far we are very impressed with the results. We have only used the Eco and the Auto programmes but both have given amazing results. If you press the SpeedPerfect+ button the Eco mode runs for 1hr 5 mins and the Auto in 1hr 20 mins. There are plenty of options and it is very quiet when running. Everything comes out perfectly clean and the cutlery looks like new.

Cutlery had to be washed by hand due to lack of room.

So far, first impressions are poor. The 'flexible' nature of the drawers make them difficult to load. You can't put glasses there, because the side plates are in the way. Tonight, a load our previous Bosch would have handled quite happily, was abandoned. I had to remove the cutlery tray from the top, and wash them by hand, so that I could put dinner plates on the bottom drawer and side plates in the middle. I wish I'd known before we let the old machine go, I'd have kept the cutlery basket. As it is, I'll have to order one. With use, I might be able to figure out a more efficient way of loading it but, at the moment, it's less useful than the one it replaced.

    Definitely recommend

Exceptionally quiet and have to say it’s much more efficient at cleaning than the Beko alternative we replaced. Slightly less room between shelves due to the cutlery shelf at the top so it’s worth being aware if you have large plates or pasta bowls that these may not fit.

In some ways an improvement, in others a step backwards

When I opened the door at the end of the first cycle which was initiated by the installation engineer, I found some items inside the dishwasher; polystyrene foam particles from the packaging, a grey rubber strip and an unopened complimentary sachet of dishwasher tablets and water softener. I wasn't sure if these were supposed to be left inside, and I'm a bit concerned about the rubber strip. The machine is an improvement in some ways over my previous Bosch, although I preferred the cutlery basket to the new cutlery shelf at the top. The bottom drawer makes a scuffing noise when being wheeled in and out, but I can't see where it is sticking. I don't like all the extra plastic prongs as they take up space. I have to make sure that large plates are placed to either side in the bottom drawer, as they are still in the way of the top basket if I place them near the middle. The depth of this model is greater than its predecessor, and so it sticks out by an extra inch or two than everything else, which is a bit annoying. I like that they have re-designed the salt cap without a thread, as the old one could get salt granules trapped in the cap thread. The machine came with a free 5-year warranty which gives good peace of mind. Whether it will last 19 years like my old one, I somehow doubt.

    Stylish and quiet

So far so good. I personally like the cutlery tray, but it won't be for everyone as it means the top drawer is lower given you less height for plates in the bottom basket. That said - there is plenty of room for lots of things. Its very quiet, but its worth noting the eco wash is nearly 4 hours. Again, not a problem for me as I put it on over night anyway - but for some that may be an issue

    Very good machine

Good product, much more space efficient inside than my previous Beko and there's lots of adjustment to the trays etc so you can alter the configuration a little to accommodate, for instance, larger plates in the lower tray by lifting the middle tray.

Very quiet and cleans better than the previous one we had. Really like the cutlery tray and the ability to adjust shelves.

Small, compact and smart use of the space inside in terms of the trays, the top cutlery tray is my personal favorite as i feel the traditional baskets get in the way of plates and pans, especially in a slimline like this. The complementary packet of dishwasher tabs was nice little bonus!
