So far, first impressions are poor. The 'flexible' nature of the drawers make them difficult to load. You can't put glasses there, because the side plates are in the way. Tonight, a load our previous Bosch would have handled quite happily, was abandoned. I had to remove the cutlery tray from the top, and wash them by hand, so that I could put dinner plates on the bottom drawer and side plates in the middle. I wish I'd known before we let the old machine go, I'd have kept the cutlery basket. As it is, I'll have to order one. With use, I might be able to figure out a more efficient way of loading it but, at the moment, it's less useful than the one it replaced.

When I opened the door at the end of the first cycle which was initiated by the installation engineer, I found some items inside the dishwasher; polystyrene foam particles from the packaging, a grey rubber strip and an unopened complimentary sachet of dishwasher tablets and water softener. I wasn't sure if these were supposed to be left inside, and I'm a bit concerned about the rubber strip. The machine is an improvement in some ways over my previous Bosch, although I preferred the cutlery basket to the new cutlery shelf at the top. The bottom drawer makes a scuffing noise when being wheeled in and out, but I can't see where it is sticking. I don't like all the extra plastic prongs as they take up space. I have to make sure that large plates are placed to either side in the bottom drawer, as they are still in the way of the top basket if I place them near the middle. The depth of this model is greater than its predecessor, and so it sticks out by an extra inch or two than everything else, which is a bit annoying. I like that they have re-designed the salt cap without a thread, as the old one could get salt granules trapped in the cap thread. The machine came with a free 5-year warranty which gives good peace of mind. Whether it will last 19 years like my old one, I somehow doubt.

This is my third Bosch dishwasher in the last 20 years, all have been slimline. The previous 2 were great, very reliable, lasting roughly a decade apiece. This one feels of similar quality, the door handle more-so probably. Hopefully it will last as long. Inside, the addition of the cutlery drawer does rob some space from the upper basket. you can lower the basket down easily, but I find my dinner plates don't fit in the bottom basket if I do. All in all I do really like how efficient and quiet the new machine is, the connected features are a bonus novelty as well. It’s just a shame that i can only fit in about 90% of what I could in the old one.

Small, compact and smart use of the space inside in terms of the trays, the top cutlery tray is my personal favorite as i feel the traditional baskets get in the way of plates and pans, especially in a slimline like this. The complementary packet of dishwasher tabs was nice little bonus!

Love it! It's very quiet so I can be in the kitchen while it is on! The cutlery tray takes some getting used to, and I found the other trays not fully suitable for slightly odd shaped dishes like pasta bowls, which me and my husband normally love to use. But I'm getting used to using other dishes to help prop bowls and pasta dishes in a angled formation that allows them to be washed.

I've had a few dishwashers previously but this Bosch performs far better than I have experienced with cheaper machines and well-worth buying.

The dishwasher cleans my plates greats and the cutlery tray is a great addition which cleans just as well. The setting are also clear and nice but I mainly use the auto setting as it adjusts based on your wash which is perfect.

Great little dishwasher.. very quiet and looks stylish. Does a fantastic job.
