For me not good service no news. Nothing they took the money but nothing happen

A total fiasco from start to finish. Said they'd collected the item and had photo evidence, it was a totally different colour to ours. re-arranged collection for the Monday only to be called on the Sunday to say we were not there and said we had arranged for the Sunday. Happily they record their telephone calls but strange enough they haven't listened to the conversation as they would have to apologise. Having someone argue that it was arranged for the Sunday is NOT good Customer Service!

Poor customer service when a o came to collect my fridge/freezer to recycle, they took my money fast enough

I ordered the appliance collection and recycle service for 2 appliances. Collection team was rude upon arrival, and told us that they'd been waiting outside too long as I'd missed their phone call ten minutes earlier (they didn't bother to knock on the front door to check whether we were in or not). Once they'd seen the appliances we needed to recycle, they told us they wouldn't have space in the van (even though this was literally the only service we'd paid for with AO). After much to-and-fro, complaining and a call to their head office (in front of us - so we heard the whole exchange) to try and skip collecting one of the items, it was finally agreed they would carry out the appliance collection and recycling as originally organised. To be honest, they could have disassembled and removed both of the appliances within all of the time they spent trying not to do the job. At the end of the day, it's an appliance collection service - I don't expect great things, but as a minimum a customer shouldn't be told off in their own driveway for missing a phone call ten minutes earlier, and the team should be prepared to pick up items if that is the sole service which has been paid for and organised.

I booked my pick up date and paid online. Guy turned up and said he didn’t have enough room on his van to take my 2 items. This was a Friday and I needed them removed as a skip was arriving. Had to speak 3 times with customer service to get them picked up on Saturday. Not happy at all with the service

Whilst the machine is fantastic and I am very happy I was not impressed with the Collect and Recycle, despite the fact I called and ensure that the old machine would be taken away on the same day due to an admin error at AO I was left with my machine for an additional 2 days, which wasn't ideal as I have elderly parents and that was the main reason that I chose AO and signed up to the 5 star plan so that the old machine would be taken away on the same day. So I wasn't impressed with that side of things.

would have been better if I could have ordered complete service

This is very straight forward. They picked up the fridge and freezer from outside the house where we had left them. Thankfully, I'd done this as the 2 gentlemen concerned seemed to have little experience of this type of job. They left the new fridge-freezer wedged in the hall as they couldn't work out how to get it into the kitchen.Alas, one had a sore leg.I'm 71 and the kitchen-fitter (62) and I got it in.
