Bought to replace old model- it fits the same worktop hole but surface area is larger meaning you CAN use all 5 hobs simultaneously! Joy! All hobs light easily. Lit number feature useful (eg to remember the number for cooking pancakes brilliantly first time). The gas pressure has not been altered from our old hob yet everything seems more ‘controlled’. Glass looks lovely. When clean. Still trying to find suitable glass cleaner. It has a raised square plate (not glass, I think metal) to act as locators around each hob which have potential to collect grime. The writing (neff logo & hob dots & location markers) are cleverly printed on the underside of the glass surface so won’t rub off over time. Brilliant! Cleanability: a big concern when choosing for myself. The knobs are in a row as they always are- you still struggle to clean splatters easily around them. Though seems a flat surface, like I mentioned there are raised areas so cleaning is still not as easy as a smooth wipe over. The raised grills are in 5 individual parts so that is easier to handle than 2 large ones as they are heavy. Over all I dropped a star because of the nooks & crannies I feel should be ironed out by now to make cleaning easier. I know electric hobs solve this but why can’t gas hobs be on one level with a smooth indent to locate the grills? Since I may be asking the impossible, I will finish by letting you know it has taken all my frustration out of cooking on my old inherited neff hob due to usability of all hobs simultaneously really. A few design tweaks would make it a 5 star. Overall it looks beautiful in my kitchen, the black glass blending into a black granite worktop.

Having chosen a 5 hob burner with this Neff, it will be hard to go back to a 4 hob one. The powerful wok burner and extra width (total width is 75cm) makes it so easy to have multiple pans cooking at the same time time, and not having them all cramped in close to one another. Makes it safer as well.

Have recvd on time as promised, look stylish happy with the quality of product as yet though haven’t Installed yet can’t wait more ... need to start using it soon

Bought this hob to go with my new Neff oven. It looks good but can be a bit awkward to clean as it is not completely flat when you take off the gas parts. However when it is clean it looks fab. I bought the wok ring direct from Neff to go on it for doing stir frys. I love the LED displays on it which show you if the hob is still hot. Speaking of hot, this is a much hotter hob than my old one. Even on low, it throws out some heat so I don't think I will need to use the big burner much. Which, incidentally, I think should be at the front so that you can fit a bigger pan on it. All in all though, I am very pleased with this hob and it looks fabulous!
