Great iron

5/5
This is making my ironing so much easier. I just have it on one setting and it irons all fabrics. As has been said before it is slightly heavy, but I much prefer this to a lighter one.

Like the long cord. Easy to fill. Good amount of steam when ironing. It is a bit heavier than my last iron, but you do get used to it. Seems to get rid of the creases better than other irons I’ve had. Only thing I’m not keen on is the noise it makes when it is ironing.

Unreal

This is by far the best iron I have ever had, the performance and results are quick and outstanding. I really like the steam sensor. The cord is really long, the only slight criticism I would have is that it is not the lightest

My GF was over the moon said it is brilliant so I’m happy!

Fantastic Iron

5/5
This is an amazing iron. I feel it gives out the same amount of steam as the steam generated one but without the bulk. It is heavyish if you compare it to lighter irons but I prefer it. Means I don't need to press as hard. I'm not a huge fan of ironing but now find myself looking forward to ironing my laundry as this iron makes it very easy.

Fantastic Iron

I've had this Bosch Sensixx'x D190 for a few weeks now, replacing a Rowenta with a few too many years on the clock, and I have to say its a fantastic iron. First impressions when you unbox it, it feels like a quality appliance as soon as its in your hand. The controls all fall naturally to hand, and its comfy to hold. I note a few reviewers don't like its weight, but you shouldn't be put off by that. It needs some 'heft' to do its job, and it does that job very well indeed. Two of my 'ironing challenges' are heavy cotton chino's that have been left in the ironing pile too long, and a shirt my wife loves that has some heavy embroidery that previously never ironed well. In both cases this iron breezed through heavy creasing and that embroidered surface, easily at twice the speed of my previous iron and with a lot less arm pressure. Not mentioned on any site I've found is the flexibility in setting up the steam function. It has 4 different ways to steam. The basic steam shot which you see on all irons, 2 motorised steam options 'Eco' and 'Max' which you access via the 'SET' button on the handle. These activate as soon as you start ironing. However you can turn these off when you don't need constant steam, and you then steam via the red button you can see under the handle. I love it! Anti Shine does work to a point. Just be careful ironing over other fabric underneath such as pocket linings etc they will cause shine lines. However the main fabric on those pesky chinos...no shine. It is a pricey iron, but I''d definitely say in this case you get what you pay for, and as its a Bosch you know it will last for some years. Buy with confidence.

Hard to use

Hard to slide as very heavy and antishine doesn't work very well but steaming action is great
