Poor quality

Bought this cooker and within weeks had to contact an engineer due to the oven flame going out during cooking. Within a matter of weeks had to recontact engineer due to the same problem with the oven and advised we should contact AO for a replacement.

Electra gas cooker

Not happy had to return it as the grill far too slow had to buy a toaster, then tried the oven a week later which didn't cook my homemade pizza evenly. I think it may be a matter of you get what you pay for. So now have gone for a branded more expensive cooker. Wish me luck.

Very poor

I bought this model 12 months ago, I wish I hadn’t. The design and build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The grill requires to fit a heat shield if you plan to use it for any length of time in order to prevent the control knob becoming hot and possibly damaged. The flame detectors on all burners including the oven and the grill take a long time to pick up a heat signal and therefore you are constantly have to relight them or keep held in. The is the worse for lighting sometimes taking up to 30 seconds to detect a flame. And the temperature of the oven in relation to the numbers on the control are nowhere correct although this was easily overcome by purchasing an oven thermometer. The pan supports aren’t really up to the job, if you sit a smallish pan on them you had position it just right otherwise it slides, either onto the burner or to the side and spilling the hot contents, very dangerous. All in all a very poor cooker and one I would not recommend in fact it won’t be long before this one finds its way to the scrap yard.

Electra Gas cooker

Cooker looked great ideal for home use. Within days of installation and the second time oven was used I realized there was a problem. Oven had no Therma couple installed! This should not be happening with a brand new item. I would not recommend this brand.

It's ok. I like the wider hob and the oven is ok though having two ovens means they're quite shallow compared to old one oven model. The grill is not a patch on the old eye level but it's all probably just a question of getting used to something new.

OK but annoying it leaves stuff slightly damp

It is very hard to get it to dry stuff properly as the sensors turn it off when the clothes are damp for ironing. Life is to short to waste time and energy ironing I want it to dry washing to put in cuboard straight away. I wouldn't buy this dryer again but would get one without the sensors. Less stuff to go wrong and less hassle getting stuff dry

Value for money

A standard cooker without the frills and fancy bits. Suitable for purpose. Easy to clean hob. Control knob heat deflector a bit of a nuisance ( no where to store when not in use, strange design element that seems to have been added as an afterthought).

Looks great but not a great heat

Looks great but door closure fixings fell off after 5 days fortunately it fixed back on easily. Heat doesn't seem great things take longer to cook than old oven and cooking instructions on food.
