    Bought to match the kettle so was surprised how well built it feels and works well. Didn't think I'd ever need a toaster that does bagels

    Great feel, slightly uneven toasting

    Great styling with good positive mechanisms for the toasting lever etc. I purchased this to replace another toaster which toasted very unevenly, and this toaster was not that perfect either. One side of the bread is well done while the other is less done. It's an improvement on the last 'incinerate one side/scarcely warm the other side' toaster, but perhaps I was hoping for SMEG perfection.

    We only have the toaster on number 1 but it still browns the toast. God only knows what number 6 does. Very even golden brown colour though. Can just about fit Warburtons toastie bread in.

    Really good quality toaster. Love how you can toast a bagel or crumpet without it getting stuck! Only downside is the crazy price but you get what you pay for.
