Slow Apps

4/5
Good value and happy with the TV, but the software is very slow and frustrating to use. Also note there is no Freeview built in.

They don’t make them like they used to

2/5
Sadly it seems that it’s difficult to get a smaller TV that is of decent quality these days. Whilst it’s nice to have all the modern smart technologies onboard, even compared to our 10+ year old 26” 720p Sony Bravia this TV is wanting. The screen has a very poor viewing angle, with distorted and washed out colours if you are not sitting pretty much head on. The lack of matte effect or much in the way of anti-reflective coatings makes daytime viewing difficult. Budget to get a sound bar, as like most modern TVs this comes with pathetic tinny speakers, which in this set’s case are utterly unusable for even normal TV watching in the smallest of rooms.

Excellent at the price point

4/5
Excellent TV especially at the price point! The colour is good and the brightness adaptation works well. Lost one star because the upscaling from lower res sources is a bit patchy - mostly really good, but occasionally there are runs of frames with a bit of noise which is a minor irritation. Ironically, it wouldn’t be noticeable if it wasn’t so good 95% of the time!
