Samsung TV Review

3/5
Picture quality is ok on HD broadcast channels only, quite poor picture reproduction on anything not HD. User guide needs to be more comprehensive and explanatory along with the initial set up. Lack of information let’s it down.

Not like the old Samsung quality

3/5
Cheap construction for a Samsung, very dark picture. Several setup questions were unfathomable, and Samsung online services and phone contact numbers riddled with problems, ie phone gives you three options but won't allow you to select any of them. Creating a Samsung account gets confused with any other Samsung product you have ever purchased and will not allow sign in. You get the feeling they are asking a high price just based on their past quality, and customer support is just pretend.

Nearly great

3/5
This is a solid TV for the money, but it's a touch flawed. The smart remote is mostly pointless, the software sometimes alters my settings for no reason and makes things too bright and the speakers are a bit flimsy. The picture is great when you get it right but you've got to be prepared to do some tinkering. It's growing on me but do yourself a favour and set some money aside for a decent soundbar.

TV

3/5
It's not a bad TV, but to get a clear high quality picture is hard work, why they can't be set up in the factory before being sent out is beyond me. I had two LG tv's before, and they have a much higher quality of picture, unfortunately they didn't last long enough, being house bound my tv is on most of the day for company.

Great visuals, overly expensive, poor sound. Buy 2020 model at cheaper price

3/5
The tv excels in everything but the audio. Great visuals, HDR performs fine at this price range, PC mode works flawless, game mode works flawless with its 120hz capabilities (If your device outputs 1080p 120hz) The sound quality is awful though. Its very hard to hear people talking when there's stuff going on in the background. Constantly had to change volume to hear some scenes and lower it during explosions, gun fire, traffic etc.. My previous samsung (7 years old) had something called "clear voice" that would amplify voices which worked perfectly but they removed it on recent televisions for some reason. 3 stars are for the Visuals, apps and responsiveness of the UI, it loses 2 because of the audio and the price. Great tv... You might need a sound bar though. Also, its pretty pricey at the moment, i have Samsung UE55TU7100 55" that cost less. It fairs about the same and this cost me more. If it i had known, i would have purchased the UE43TU7100 at a lower price and got a similar experience. Minus the 120hz game mode.

Good value for money

4/5
Good value for money. Struggling to get the colour balance right for PS5 and wouldn’t want to have to rely on the inbuilt sound but with a sound at it get the job done.

TV with premium features and a decent picture quality

4/5
Great TV, speedy friendly delivery We bought this for Multiview which has been great, playing games whilst having a film or news on at the same time, picture in picture is a great feature here. Display is ultra slim, base is sturdy, picture quality is decent. All in all we're very happy with purchase.

Fantastic picture quality

4/5
The picture is fantastic and the set-up is straightforward. The downside is the sound quality lacks depth, a soundbar is a definite addition.
