Chosen to provide additional freezer storage to be located in garage. The specification meets that requirement. The auto defrost was an essential for our needs also. This freezer comes up trumps at a really good price point.
Freezer drawers are decent size. The top space has a drop down front, which while some might prefer a drawer, is in fact a well designed feature to allow level access for freshly cooked foods, which will likely have liquids (stock, gravy/sauce) in the containers you wish to freeze. The fast freeze fan is located here.
As noted by others there are no indicator lights but that for me is no problem as I have power on indicator light at the socket and at the price point more are not essential, just trust the thermostat.
Plastics e.g. drawer fronts are quite thin but I wouldnt agree with flimsy descriptions elsewhere. Drawers in fact have handle forms along the sides so reasonable care in handling will prevent any issues.
The freezer cabinet looks good cosmetically and is so quiet in operation its a pity it is out in the garage.
A good user manual is provided as are ice cube trays and easily fitted back stops to prevent compressor hitting back wall in locating.
