Stylish, fast and quiet kettle

4/5
This Breville Kettle comes with most of the features that I would want for a kettle. Firstly there is the rapid boil. This is a must as I don’t really like to hang around waiting for it. I did a couple of timed tests and for one cup, it takes 47 seconds to boil and for 8 cups (1.7 litre), it takes 3 minutes 44 seconds which is fast. The kettle does vibrate when it is boiling. The large capacity of the kettle is great for me. Being able to boil more water is a plus point as I do often have a lots of guests coming over or I might need the hot water for cooking etc. Next is the range of colours and matching toasters. There are five different colours (Black, Cream, White, Damson and Red) and I went for the white high gloss finish. The unique ridged textured design makes it look retro in style. The body is made from plastic with chrome accents on the handle, and I love that it does not leave fingerprint marks on the surface. Even though it is made from a plastic body, it doesn’t feel cheap. The body feels hot to touch when the kettle is boiled but it is not as hot as a stainless steel kettle. I love that the kettle is lightweight and able to turn around its base 360°C. This is great for both left and right hand use. It also comes with the clear water level indication to allow you to see the number of cups you want to boil. There are two blue LED lights inside the kettle. When it is boiling, these lights come on and the on/off button will light up. Once it has finished boiling, it will turn itself off. The only thing I dislike is the lid. The lid comes completely off from the kettle. Therefore I’m having to find somewhere to place the lid while I go and fill it with water. Placing it on the side, I could easily drop it or place it on an unclean surface. Breville say this is to allow for a bigger opening which I can understand so maybe I just need to get used to it. Overall it is a stylish, fast and quiet kettle with a colour range to suit any kitchen.

I really liked the new breville impressions jug kettle it looks nice and modern. It's very fast to boil. It's quite big holds 1.7l so makes me happy when I'm doing everyone's cup tea and I don't have to re boil a kettle and it's a bonus that you can get the toaster to go with it aswell cause I always like them to match.

Breville impressions kettle

5/5
Firstly I love the look of this kettle, it looks great! I love the fact that it's plastic and doesn't show up any finger prints, it's also extremely light even when full to maximum capacity. It pours well without any spillages and also boils fairly quickly. It's perfect for larger families and handy when having guests with its large 1.7ltr water capacity. The handle is literally the most comfortable handle I've come across on a kettle! My only downsides are the fact the lid comes off, it's not something that's put me off the kettle but I'd prefer if it was attached to the kettle and also the cord is still too long when wrapped around the cord tidy once but too short when wrapped around twice, again, not something that's put me off this kettle as overall I really do like it. Definitely recommend!

Retro tea time.

4/5
Firstly the main feature I enjoyed about this kettle is the rapid boil. Nobody likes waiting around for a cup of tea. The kettle does vibrate when it is boiling so the wire underneath has to be secured firmly on the base. The large capacity of the kettle is great for me, my morning doesn't start until I've had at least two cups of coffee. The range of colours is only rivalled by the more cheaply Argos Colours range but the quality is definitely noticed in the Breville. It's unique ridged textured design makes it look very retro but fits in nicely to any kitchen. Even though it is made from a plastic body, it doesn’t feel cheap. Overall it is a stylish, fast and quiet kettle with a colour range to suit any kitchen.
