Unfortunately, I have to say that so far I have not been impressed with this machine. The machine appears to be sturdy and well built but it leaves the clothes quite wet. Also the wash cycles are not very clear from the front of the machine or the manual, the manual makes no reference to white washes yet it mentions Jeans / Dark washes ?? The machine offers shorter washes (energy savers) but the shorter washes leave the clothes wetter and then you have to use the spin / drain setting to spin /drain off the wetness. (Uses more energy). My old machine had the function to delay the start of the wash and that meant that I could delay the start by the hour and up to 24 hours! This machine has a “Finish In” function which is problematic, if your energy provider offers peak save that starts at a particular time then it is difficult to determine when to set the finish in time to coincide with the energy saving hours.

Slightly dated design with a very large door that sticks out way beyond the machine depth. So much so that I had to move a dishwasher so that both doors could be opened. Program dial is large and can easily be knocked as can the non touch-capacitive ‘touch’’ screen. A cheap touch screen for the sake of it. Washes pretty well, getting some soap streaks on shorter washes. Very, very very annoying bleep that continues when the wash is finished.

It's a great machine, does everything it should do very well. I hope it lasts as long as our previous bosch did.

nice machine, very quiet and seems like it has a good range of cycles, but only had this for a few weeks, so still playing with the selections. Only one criticism, hence the 4 stars, it does not come with the elbow for the discharge hose to hook it up at the correct angle, you have to purchase this as an accessory, all other machines supply this in the package.

Bosch make a reliable products and this one replaced a Bosch Maxx. The only downside is that they have made it much more complicated to understand with all the new options and technology As I am in my 80s, however, new things are more difficult to understand. How about making an simple , easy to understand guide for us oldies.
