We bought this sparkling new Bosch washing machine 12 days ago and were recently asked about the product. First impressions are fine but far too early to make a definitive review, really. Our previous Bosch washing machine lasted about 9.5 years then the bearings failed. Bearings can be designed to last much longer, the lifetime of the machine really, with not more more additional cost. Makers, of course, do design for Planned Obsolescence which is such a shame in this urgent, environmentally sensitive age.

Only just got this Bosch machine. Have done a quick wash which was very good. To day did an Easy Care programme at 40dg took 2hrs40mins but only used about 40pence Showing on my smart meter. Definitely saves on electric

Really pleased with this washing machine - cleans well, is nice a quiet and the spin is really effective. My only criticism would be that there are only two cycles for the max capacity and one of these has an auto-temp of 40-60deg. This means the machine will select the cycle temp, and this can’t be overridden - so you have no control over the temperature of the wash. I therefore never use this programme and am left with just one useable ‘full’ programme. Annoying!

We bought this as it was recommended by which? And it is very nice, and is also very quiet. Only downside is that you cannot set the temperature on the eco cycle as it is automatically set by the machine.

Pleased so far with range of programmes especially the economy 30 min wash. Very quiet when spinning too

Many choices of programmes. 15/30 minutes for a few items. A drum cleaning programme excellent. Washing machine looks smart in my new kitchen.

Quiet and easy ro use. Touch sensor pad is bevelled and therefore can easily be turned off during programme if its leant against.

Works well, as it should. Loving the quietness, even without the extra quiet button which adds a lot of time to program.
