So far, not so good. The Bosch machine this one replaced was 23 years old before it stopped working. This new machine has lasted less than two weeks. There appears to be something wrong with the controller. An engineer is on the way to fix it, but as a result, we are going to be another 10 days without a washing machine. If it worked it would be a very quiet, very capable machine (it was for a week or so).

Has anyone had any issues with washing coming out with dirty marks? My machine is 6 months old, I had a brand new towel which came out with dirty marks that weren't there before. I also find that if I put one towel or jumper on the rinse and spin programme it sometimes doesn't spin. The booklet says the load may be unbalanced, but my previous Bosch could cope with a single item. In other ways I'm very happy with the machine.

The wash settings are very long durations compared to my previous washing machine. In the eco setting it doesn’t allow you to change / fix the temperature which seems strange for an eco setting.

We bought this sparkling new Bosch washing machine 12 days ago and were recently asked about the product. First impressions are fine but far too early to make a definitive review, really. Our previous Bosch washing machine lasted about 9.5 years then the bearings failed. Bearings can be designed to last much longer, the lifetime of the machine really, with not more more additional cost. Makers, of course, do design for Planned Obsolescence which is such a shame in this urgent, environmentally sensitive age.

This Bosch is has been a replacement for an age old Miele and has been very good in use, and is a high Which? Good Buy rating at a pretty good price. The Bosch looks good, is a good bit quieter than our previous machine and has a large range of different wash programmes with the ability to further adjust temperatures, spin speeds etc. for each. Washed clothes have come out very well and it has a pretty large 9kg load capacity. One issue for use was that the door is a little larger than the one on our previous machine, so we’ve had to make more room for clear opening of the door.

This is my third Bosch washing machine (in decades) as I've always been happy with them. It has a large, spacious drum, is extremely quiet. Only down side is the excessive creasing (more than in my old Bosch that it replaced, after 23 years of use). The solution is to only spin on 400. This means the clothing/sheets etc are fairly wet but at least they are not creased.

Switched from a Miele so not as good but good value. Spin speed could be better. Only goes to 1400. Used to 1600 which makes washing dry faster. Good choice of wash length cycles.

The washing machine is quiet and has plenty of programmes although would have given 5 stars if it had a sports wash facility like the older model did. Love the fact that the door unlocks immediately so you don't have to stand there waiting. Easy to clean and looks great too. I have always rated Bosch appliances and the one time I deviated away I regretted it almost immediately. Good value for money would definitely recommend this washing machine
