So far, not so good. The Bosch machine this one replaced was 23 years old before it stopped working. This new machine has lasted less than two weeks. There appears to be something wrong with the controller. An engineer is on the way to fix it, but as a result, we are going to be another 10 days without a washing machine. If it worked it would be a very quiet, very capable machine (it was for a week or so).

The wash settings are very long durations compared to my previous washing machine. In the eco setting it doesn’t allow you to change / fix the temperature which seems strange for an eco setting.

We bought this sparkling new Bosch washing machine 12 days ago and were recently asked about the product. First impressions are fine but far too early to make a definitive review, really. Our previous Bosch washing machine lasted about 9.5 years then the bearings failed. Bearings can be designed to last much longer, the lifetime of the machine really, with not more more additional cost. Makers, of course, do design for Planned Obsolescence which is such a shame in this urgent, environmentally sensitive age.

A very prompt and efficient service

Always bought Bosch. Never any issues. Just one surprise. There is no light inside. Used being able to see the clothes as I pull them out!

Was recommended by a professional to buy a Bosch machine and I’m pleased to get this one for a reasonable price. The eco cycle is about 2.5hours long which is slower than my previous model, but apart from that it seems good. The only reason I docked a star was the model is advertised as being 59cm deep but actually the front does stick out further. I should have checked on Bosch’s website where the dimensions diagram shows that up to door is 63.3cm

The washing machine is ideal, however the instructions are somewhat complicated. A simple startup guide would be of great value.

Nice and quiet, even when spinning. Not that keen on electronic panel as it's not easy to see options which are not lit up (we don't all have perfect eyesight). Not sure how well the silvered knob will stand up to usage. I have similar on a cooker and it is already coming off. Preferred the old white knob with clear marking. Weird option for liquid detergent that I've not got the hang of yet. It keeps engaging for some reason. Needs further investigation. I do like Bosch though as they are pretty reliable, good quality and last a long time.
