Hotpoint aquaririus

5/5
I bought this one as my old one broke down beyond repair ( I had aquarius ) . It’s quiet and has wash programs which suit my family’s needs . Dryers well too

safe and (less) sound!

5/5
The washing machine arrived just outside the delivery window but I was kept informed throughout the morning. The guys were quick to carry it up the one flight of stairs to my apartment and within 15 minutes it was out with the old and in with the new, just like ringing in the New Year! I used the machine the same day and was surprised at the difference in speed and sound compared to the old model. Overall I made a great choice in choosing AO for the product and am very happy with the outcome. Ian Christie

Decent, but not perfect

4/5
Compared to previous washing machines the cycles on the Hotpoint do take a lot longer, however it runs silently and is relatively easy to use. It's early days but so far we are happy with the machine. The only glaring design flaw I can mention is the adjustable feet. While they are adjustable - a must to get the machine level - they are without any form of locking nuts, and they are very lose - so much so they can turn themselves when moving the machine back into position!

Very disappointing

Washer dryer arrived today but so far this machine has not delivered the programs I was expecting. Ordinary wash cycles seem to take over 3hours and the fast cycles that I prefer have a max temp of only 30 degrees. I will be replacing it as soon as I can afford to.

Nice machine

4/5
Nice machine, buttons over complicate things a bit, Seems unless you want a 30 min quick wash then it’s 2h + , I know washer dryers take longer to dry but your looking at 3h to dry things, shame no space for Separate dryer , Only been using a few days but already missing old machines

Not bad

4/5
I’ve always had a separate washing machine and dryer, but wanted a single machine. It does wash and it does dry. My only complaint is how much longer it takes than my old system. A full load on quick wash would take 30 minutes then 60 minutes in the dryer when it would be completely dry and ready to put away. The ready to wear in 45 minutes program is brilliant, but it only works up to a 1kg load. It’s the drying that takes a long time on a full load, it has quick wash settings which are good but all of the wash/dry settings take 4 to 5 hours!

So far so good

So far so good, I've used it daily on different programmes, it's easy to use and does a good job

Failed on day 1 as did the replacement.

The first machine. When it was unpacked by the delivery team a 3 inch piece of concrete fell out. This had obviously been part of the ballast weight. The enclosed water pipe had a kink in it which crushed it shut. The instructions say to do a "clean cycle" before normal use. When this was done it leaked badly. A replacement machine was sent promptly. On unpacking, again by the delivery team, a self tapping screw fell out. Again during the "clean cycle" it had a serious leak somewhere near the front of the machine. An engineer was sent to do an inspection - I had to wait several days before one was available. He was happy with how it had been installed and with the environment. At this point I requested that the Hotpoint be taken back and replaced with a different make. I await its arrival and hope for the best.
