I have just replaced a 15 year old Miele with this Bosch. I am decidedly underwhelmed with the new machine. The 10kg advertised load is for a small number of the wash options only, most are more like 6kg, some as low as 2 or 4 kg. I accept delicates/short cycle being a lower load but some of the other wash options I am disappointed to find the load capacity so low (maybe my fault for not scouring the manual before I bought-I took 10kg to mean 10kg for most wash options) The cycles that do offer 10kg load are so long that I would be quicker doing a shorter cycle with a lighter load and then running a second load, and it would still take less time. And quite a few washes have come out with the clothes still dripping wet, and I have had to put them on the spin cycle. I spoke to Bosch about this and they told me I either didn't have enough in the wash (too light), or the balance of items was wrong, so it wouldn't spin properly. My children swim regularly and I am used to putting their swim kit on a short cycle when they get back from the pool. the Meile managed this fine, but apparently I have to add extra weight/items to balance the load-I don't necessarily have other items I want to put in each time on a 30 min cycle.

Really pleased with this washing machine, which replaced a previous Bosch. So happy to be able to see the programme time left, which was missing on our previous model. Great drum size, lots of programme choices with options in most of them for temperature, spin speed etc that you can select to tailor make your wash. Most importantly, it washes clothes really well. The I-dose system takes away the guesswork and possibility of using too much (or too little) detergent and conditioner. And it’s so quiet! Looks great too. It’s a superb washing machine and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Loads of programmes, way quieter than my old Samsung ecobubble. i-Dos is cool as you can just shove the clothes in and press go without fiddling around with measuring out the detergent and conditioner. Haven't tested every function yet but so far it seems pretty good and has washed the clothes nicely. Delivery was also efficient. Arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would. Top marks.

Best washing machine I have ever had. It is amazingly quiet, my clothes come out drier than my old machine on the same spin speed and the i-dos feature is great. It is so simple to set the timer and the ability to add an item after the wash started isbrilliant. I needed this on only the second use!

OK machine, but clothes are pretty wet after cycle has finished. Either this is faulty, or my old machine was better or this is normal behaviour for this machine.

On the whole really pleased with machine. Purchased to replace a broken Bosch series 6 one. The only thing I can’t really get my head around is the automatic dosing compartment as this is the only way to add liquid conditioner. Does not seem to empty as expected.

This machine is a great improvement on our previous (10 year old) Bosch washing machine, I wish we had replaced it earlier. It is much quieter than the old one and the auto detergent/conditioner is a brilliant idea. No more messing with heavy bottles, trying to estimate the correct amount - the machine measures it exactly and pumps it into the drum at the correct times(s) of the wash cycle. The delay timer is improved too - now you can set in 30min intervals rather than just hours for added convenience.

My last washing machine was a Bosch. I used it for 11 years and was pleased with the performance and durability. I have bought a Bosch I-dos series 6 and love the I-dos feature. The additional programmes AntiStain and Hygiene Plus are a bonus.
