This is a large capacty machine that also has some quick wash options - especially useful is the Super Speed cycle. Just remember to make a note of the serial number on the back of the machine before it's plumbed in - you will need this to register the five year guarantee.

It looks good and is marginally smaller than our previous 11kg washing machine with more of a compact looking design which makes our small utility room seem that little bit more spacious. It is lighter too making it easier to move around and position. It’s not overly loud but it’s also not that quiet either really (perhaps that extra space has created more of an echo!). But can’t complain about the noise considering the old one was rattling and stomping side to side in its last few months before being replaced by this sleeker upgrade. The settings are easy to use and adjust and the WiFi signal is also stronger than our previous one even when tucked away in this room. I can’t speak for its longevity only having had it for a week but overall and with it’s current delighters, I would recommend.

So easy to use and the drum size allows for a large amount of washing each time

The washing machine itself does a great job cleaning large loads and has an excellent spin cycle. It is extremely heavy, but that does mean it is very quiet and doesn't make the house vibrate. Unfortunately, the occasional small item (children's socks in our case) can get trapped between the door and the seal which stops them from being properly washed and spun. This doesn't happen every time, but enough to be frustrating. The smart features do feel a bit gimmicky, but have actually come in handy as we can load the washing machine in the evening and then remotely start it when our energy switches to off peak. Also have no excuses to ignore it when it finishes, as my Samsung TV displays a notification when the cycle is complete!

This washing machine is grateful, especially with the larger drum capacity. I believe the extra cost is worth it combined with the warranty, drum size, lower noise and app functionality. The only thing that is annoying is that only one person can control the machine with the app and if the button has been pressed to do this, no one can open the machine until that one person clicks ok on their phone! Overall though, I really like the washing machine and recommend it.

I was really excited to receive this washing machine, after our last one had a few problems after 10 years of use. It fitted well in the space and has a higher capacity for our family. I have however been somewhat disappointed. Socks and smaller items keep ending up in the rubber sill at the front of the machine which is really frustrating as I then put them through the wash again. I have also found half of pods in the rubber sill that obviously have not fully dissolved. There are lots of things that I do like about it - it is quiet and I like the eco wash option for when I have a bit more time available.

The Samsung washing machine is a new brand for us so a bit of a leap. Coming from a Miele for 15 years we're looking for reliability and longevity but that will come, hopefully. What we were looking for was a function rich yet easy to use machine that takes a good load and is quiet in all programs. We have had the machine for three weeks now and that is what we have with the bonus of high quality wash standard technology plus things we didn't expect like the Hygiene Steam Cycle and 'Eco-Bubbles' that actually provide great results. So far so good. Down side... The install and instruction manual could be bigger and better.

A replacement for our original Samsung Washing Machine. This model is just as quiet and offers a range of wash cycles that are flexible in that the set cycles can be modified in terms of temperature and spin speed. Not sure why we we want to connect the machine to the internet so haven't bothered with that feature. Looking at the manual the 11kg load should only be used in one program, some of the others state a significantly lower weight
