Good well priced machine but a significant size snag

    4/5
Good machine at a good price. Delivered quickly and on time. Only had it a week but has performed impeccably. Nice choice of programmes but you cannot select 1400 spin speed with the quick wash. The other reason it has only 4 stars is that it states that it is 55cm deep - wrong and misleading that’s just the main case but adding in the door etc makes it much deeper and so sticks out. Why did they change the door to black, it makes it look ugly.

    Very disappointed purchase

    1/5
it washes clothes but boy does it make a noise when spinning, the drum bangs on the side casing whatever the load. SAMSUNG have looked at it twice and said there is nothing wrong. We bought this machine after reading reviews on the quietness of the product. Not the one we have and no-one at AO can help. Big mistake as far as we are concerned so no more buys from AO for us.

    Quiet but frustrating.

Very quiet. I am impressed by the weighing that the machine does to save water BUT this is also really challenging when you put in a wash and the time goes up to 3 hours! I didn’t expect to be unable to actually put over 4kg of washing into a drum that says it takes 8kg. Presently trying every wash to find the shortest time for a 4kg load.

    Nice machine, horrible smell

    2/5
First the good things: it really is as quiet as it claims, and the little song it plays at the end of the cycle is really cute. But the horrible plastic smell that hasn't fully faded after a fortnight, and still imparts on to the clothes, isn't cute at all. It's burnt-rubbery and awful and for the first week of running cleaning cycles and airing it out in between, it was giving me a headache if I didn't open the windows. I'm hoping the smell will continue to fade. Another thing I dislike about this machine is the eco 40-60 setting, which I thought meant was a choice between 40 for mixed loads and 60 for cotton, but no, it's a cycle that does both temperatures. If you want 60, you want 60, and if you need 40, you need 40. I used the eco cycle almost exclusively on my old machine and I don't think I'll ever use this, and I can't see why anyone would.

Life of a washing machine ...

    5/5
Very quiet compared to our last machine. To be fair, our last machine was so loud that the neighbours in the next town knew when we were doing our washing. This one is so quiet the silence is deafening. Imagine being stood in the kitchen and being able to hear you wife talking to you when the washing machine is turned on. The machine also plays a little tune at the end of the cycle to let you know it is finished. Some may find this annoying, but after 100s of baby clothes washes it is now a bigger brain worm than baby shark! Unlike our last machine the door on this one is clear and so as well as washing your clothes, it also provides free child care. Hours of entertainment watching socks and pants go round and round. In all seriousness, this machine washes clothes ... what more do you want from a washing machine?!

    Washing cycles are too long.

    3/5
Positives are: Its v quite when running. It holds a large load. The controls are easy to understand. The big negative is that all the cycles other than the 15 minute wash are over 2.5 hrs. I have ended up stopping the wash after an hour or so and manually changing it on the rinse and spin. The 15 minute wash has a slow spin so again I have to manually change it to a higher spin.

    Highly recommended

    5/5
I love this washing machine, solid and well built, plenty of functions that I’ll actually use unlike most. Mixed load washes general laundry in around an hour so great length of time. Love both the bubble soak feature and the hygiene steam cycle. It’s also really quiet, even during a 1400 spin, the loudest part is the noise of my gel holder rattling around! Overall, I’m extremely impressed with this washing machine and would recommend to anyone looking for a well built machine with an extended guarantee at a reasonable price.

    Good machine

I have this machine for 10 days only. So far satisfied, not too noisy. But I need to childproof it each time, for that you need to hold two buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. However if my one finger just touches (not presses) one button it will change the setting. For example if my finger touches temperature button, it will go to the next level (for example initially I set to 60, now it is 90 degrees). That is annoying if you are not very careful. Other than that satisfied
