The product is great. Really like how user friendly it is. It’s built well and operates great. Large drum, great wash options. Can see the time tick down on the display. Choose your spin, your presoak, your temp everything. It’s really a good machine. The only thing with it that was a semi letdown is it moves from side to side quite a bit because the spin is very aggressive. We have just placed sponge padding down the sides and it’s fine but worth a mention.

Not just a cracking product but the two chaps who came to install it were utter legends. A brilliant pair who worked well together and went over and above to make sure the job was done properly. And while it's not every day you end up talking vasectomies with complete strangers, they'd be welcome anytime :)

Best washing machine I’ve ever bought. Good size drum, nice wide door, calibrates each load, washes, rinses & spins brilliantly & it’s the quietest machine I’ve ever come across! Haven’t used each programme yet but I’m working my way through them! Can’t wait to put washing on, sad but true.

Can't fault the delivery from AO, and can't fault the Samsung WW80T machine. But the stated sizes don't take into account the operating knob which fouled a kitchen unit drawer in the corner location of the w/machine. (The kitchen drawer slides out across the front, top of the washing machine - its not the washing machine drawer). Fortunately it was easily resolved by adjusting the kitchen drawer front plate width. The adjuster feet were screwed in so hard in the factory the supplied spanner just bent up and the jaws splayed, and I had to use other means to free up the adjuster feet without damaging the anti skid feet. The coefficient of friction of the feet is necessarily high, but on the my tiles' glaze it won't slide, and as its under under a work top it won't/can't "walk" in. I made up a removeable "T" skid from 5mm ply strips to skid the back feet for insertion (removed from the front of the machine by tipping the front forward to lift the back feet off the skid), and use temporary carpet pads under the front feet for machine withdrawal from under the work-top. But once fitted, skids removed and the drawer adjusted, the washing machine and kitchen drawer are fine. There was no guarantee card in the paperwork, but that was resolved by AO and Samsung, and I'm now registered with Samsung. AO's AI "help" was no help - just sending me in circles just like AI "help" algorithms normally do, but the resulting telephone call was a relatively short wait and successfully resolved the problem.

This is the third washer I have had since April! First one drum dropped, second one leaked. Good for getting clothes clean but not the best or reliable washer. Would not buy Samsung one again

Bought this after seeing reviews it was quiet. For the astronomical price it was I was expecting good things. So far, not impressed. Sounds like it is going to take off when on spin. It shakes and shudders as if it’s having a great time! There’s a 15 min wash but needs the 20 min drain and spin after and a 1.26 wash that I have used so far after it automatically did a 3.18 hour cycle. Who has time for that?? Samsung, you’ve let me down.

This Samsung series 5 ecobubble washing machine replaced a 16 year old bosch which had been trouble free. I was reluctant to change brand but having checked 'which' magazine and comparing prices and energy efficiency, this seemed to tick all the boxes. Since getting it I have been impressed with it. The timer is very handy but it can make it too tempting to pick a quick wash because you see when you are setting it what the duration of the cycle will be. I found it hard the first few times to use the longer cycle because I would always find an excuse to use the setting that would get it done in 1 hr 30 mins or so. I really like the ecobubble setting but a quick warning, the instruction manual seems to be out of date or for a slightly different machine. It gives the wrong combination of buttons for several settings like child lock and muting the jingle that plays at the end of the washing cycle. Trust the picture on the front of the machine which points out the right combination for these. I presume the settings changed at some point and the booklet either has the original settings instructions for older models or new settings for more recent versions of the machine.

Amazing product, really quiet and some really quick, good cycles- favourite is the mixed load at 1hr 6 mins for a 40C wash (not many washing machines have this good a setting or such a range of options). Well worth the money (plus it sings a nice tune at the end of the cycle)!
