Great product But took hours to change from German to English

Great machine. I was a bit apprehensive of the 1409 spin as my old machine was a 1600 but this is equally, if not better, with regards to a 1600! Add wash drawer is a great feature in a family home where someone always runs in to the room with some washing they’ve forgotten to give you! All in all it’s a great machine with many additional features and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Easy to use and has a helpful app

Good product, reasonably priced. Like the auto dose feature for softener; I assume the detergent auto dose for liquid / gel works well too but I put gel in the the drum still. Could do with clearer instructions describing panel of machine although I’m probably at fault for skimming instructions! Overall, happy with purchase.

Bought this to replace a Miele we'd had for years. Wanted an energy saving, environmentally friendly machine. Basically it is 'over the top' with the amount of specific functions and programmes. I can't imagine that I will ever use half most of them. I can't find an 'easy care' programme to wash polyester/cotton items (shirts, sheets etc.) only a synthetic for pure polyester and nylon. The Eco programme says it's for cotton items only and the 'Bedding' function only recommends washing one type of bedding at a time up to 2Kg! The on line manual from Samsung doesn't give enough information on energy and water use for each of the cycles so I don't know which is best. Haven't had it long enough to rate how well it washes on different cycles. On a positive note, it is quiet and the Add wash is useful. In hindsight a more basic machine A rated might have been better.

Great washing machine, easy to operate and don’t have to worry about the detergent. Would give 5 stars but don’t really like the app, a bit complex and could be made simpler
