    Stylish and Easy to Use

    4/5
I was impressed that the box was made from recycled materials. The box of pods is like a box of chocolates. Lots of coloured pods which are different coffees including espresso, coffee to have with milk, long coffees and flavoured coffees. The machine itself is stylist and looks great on my countertop. The water tank is easy to fill and load and the pods are easy to put in place and lock in ready for brewing. The machine is quite noisy when it’s brewing but produces lovely smooth coffee. The only downside is that you can’t use compatible pods as they are vertuo pods not standard Nespresso ones. Overall, lovely tasting coffee and a stylish design.

    Perfect Cup of coffee

My Nespresso Vertuo Next arrived quickly and was extremely easy to setup. It included a sample box of 12 pods, 2 manuals - 1 was a quick start basic guide and the other manual goes into more detail about the different programmes and maintenance procedures. To kick off, just a post transit cleaning programme to run, took about 5 mins and then you’re good to go. There are 5 different pre-programmed drink sizes (depending on the pod) to suits every taste including Espresso, Double Espresso, Grand Lungo, Mug and Alto (I like using the Alto for my Nespresso Travel mug too, fits perfectly when I add a splash of cream). An issue I had with my older Nespresso machine is that it’s great for an espresso but on larger sizes, it’s too weak, with the new Nespresso Vertuo pods, even the bigger sizes are lovely and strong, no flavour is lost. The option to add extra flow or stop the flow early if you require more or less coffee is very useful too. The machine produces a great depth of flavour and there’s a varied selection of pods to choose from. It's really worth reading up on all the different varieties available on the Nespresso website and trying a different selection of them. It also connects to Bluetooth so your machines software can receive updates automatically. You cannot regulate the temperature of the coffee, which for me is a shame as I like mine hotter than normal. But that being said, it is set to what Nespresso advise is the perfect temperature for the perfect cup of coffee and Nespresso have got it pretty spot on with this one. The Vertuo Pods are more expensive than the original Nespresso pods but in my opinion it is worth it.

    Barista Coffee at Home

    5/5
Excellent coffee machine makes hot strong coffee and has make a great stylish addition to my kitchen. Simple to set up and get going, it came with a welcome pack that explained how to set up but was not rocket science! I love the idea that the capsules are environmentally friendly, but it would have been good to add a recycling bag to the package, have been able to easily order one for free though through the Nespresso website Love the selection box of coffee that came with the machine it was a really nice touch and felt really special. This new machine has meant my old coffee machine has been mothballed as I have realised that you can have coffee as good as the high street chains and at about 60p per cup it works for me, also small thing but love that I don't have to remove an old pod everytime I want a coffee as it empties the pods into a drawer automatically. Would like to be able to buy the pods in the supermarkets as currently it seems that I can only order online. Delivery from AO was quick and easy no problems with ordering. I have already recommended this to friends!

    A Clever Little Thing...

    4/5
This is my first coffee pod machine. The Vertuo machines deliver bigger cups of coffee (compared to the Original) which is what I need. Love it the first sight - sleek and would stand out from any kitchen/office table surfaces. The set up was easy and pairing with Wifi was smooth. Impressed by only a single button to do 'everything' - pre-heat, deep-clean, setting pre-set volume of different cup size, paring Wifi etc! It is a steep learning curve for me to explore the huge range of Nespresso Coffee. Firstly, the cup size from Expresso to Alto (5 different types), and then the various strengths from 2 to 11. I also found it fascinating to find out the origin and different aroma. (If the weather permits, I would love to try out the Ice-coffee range!) You would be obliged to join the Nespresso Club online for various benefits and order new pods/recycling bags etc. I do notice, however, I have now committed to a slightly more 'expensive' coffee journey...

The Vertuo Next - This coffee fans new best friend

I admit it, I’m a coffee snob, and whilst I’d always been intrigued by the Nespresso machines I turned my nose up a little. It couldn’t possibly be as good as my freshly ground beans could it? The resounding answer to that is “yes, yes it can”. The Vertuo gives you the opportunity to make a larger cup of coffee, the pods range from single espresso right up to almost half a litre! The range of strengths and flavours is amazing; and although I tend to stick to the strong end of the spectrum I can guarantee that there is something for everyone. Even my partner, who isn’t a big coffee drinker looks forward to testing out a new flavour or finding the perfect pod to make a mocha or latte. I can’t wait to try out more flavours, with the ease and convenience of the Nespresso App meaning there are more pods heading my way the coffee possibilities are endless!

    Great Nespresso Machine!

    4/5
I've been using the Nespresso Vertuo Next by Krups for some time now and I am positively impressed. The coffee tastes very good, the selection is extensive, and there is something for everyone (as you would expect from the wide choice of Nespresso Vertuo capsules). I would particularly like to highlight the cup size options. It starts with Espresso (40ml) and Double Espresso (80ml), "Gran Lungo" (150ml), "Mug" (230ml) and finally "Alto" (414ml). Operation and convenience are great: switch on, let it warm up, insert the capsule, lower the cup, press the button, done. I can confirm the rich cream promised in the advertising. With a separate milk frother you can then conjure up a cappuccino from the espresso capsules. Overall, I am very satisfied with the machine, and the large water tank is also a plus, especially when it comes to entertaining guests. Two negative points here (which led to a star deduction): 1.) The coffee temperature is a little too low for my taste. 2.) From my experience the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth function is very glitchy as it took me almost 20 minutes trying all various options before finally managing to connect the machine to my Android phone. Overall very disappointed with a function which could have been great but instead it is just a useless add-on as you would expect to be able to manage some of the machine functions with it at least.

    Expensive way to have coffee

    3/5
As much as this machine looks great it’s not all that! It’s a task for you get the capsules in and the lid locked. Because there is no way other than to keep looking at the water tank you don’t know if it needs refilling or not. I was disappointed that I couldn’t buy the capsules anywhere other than online and it’s a hassle ordering them and costly too, 50 capsules for £28.90 is pretty steep! It’s good for dinner parties or the odd posh relative who likes ‘proper’ coffee. The coffee tastes good however it’s not that warm and if you don’t position the capsules correctly you have to use a new one. The machine is tall so you can’t really keep it on a counter with a cupboard above it which means I have to pull the machine in and out when I want to use it. It’s makes that ‘proper’ coffee in seconds but as I said before not hot enough. I do like the fact you can recycle the used pods and order recycle bags online for that and they are ‘free’. Would I recommend this, I would have to say no for the price it’s not the best however it’s quirky and contemporary looking and offers house guests a choice.

    A proper coffee

    4/5
The Look: The Nespresso Vertuo Krups is stylish and compact. It sits on my kitchen side nicely and although is quite long from front to back there is minimal width to it. The Use: I really enjoy the ease of this machine. The initial start up was smooth even from getting it out of the delivery box. It was quick and easy to do an initial clean and then straight onto making coffee. It is so straight forward my mum (who is a self confessed technophobe) was able to make one with no prompting. Simply fill the tank with fresh water, open the lid, pop a pod in, close the lid, press the button and instant fresh coffee. I like the fact the machine can tell different pod sizes and therefore how much water to use or if youve put the wrong size cup in you can stop the water by pressing the button. It is also very handy that the pods are recyclable. The Taste: There are many different pods available with different coffees to try. I would say it is for the more refined coffee drinker as they are more on the bitter side. However, the coffee is very smooth and rich, the website has plenty of recipes for different styles such as mocha where they suggest a square of dark chocolate at the bottom of a cup before using a pod. The Price: I think the cost of the machine is very reasonable for what you get, the pods are on the expensive side however, if you are a regular coffee shop drinker this machine would save you a fortune and still give you delicious coffee, especially in the times we are in at the moment where staying at home is good.
