The Look: The Nespresso Vertuo Krups is stylish and compact. It sits on my kitchen side nicely and although is quite long from front to back there is minimal width to it. The Use: I really enjoy the ease of this machine. The initial start up was smooth even from getting it out of the delivery box. It was quick and easy to do an initial clean and then straight onto making coffee. It is so straight forward my mum (who is a self confessed technophobe) was able to make one with no prompting. Simply fill the tank with fresh water, open the lid, pop a pod in, close the lid, press the button and instant fresh coffee. I like the fact the machine can tell different pod sizes and therefore how much water to use or if youve put the wrong size cup in you can stop the water by pressing the button. It is also very handy that the pods are recyclable. The Taste: There are many different pods available with different coffees to try. I would say it is for the more refined coffee drinker as they are more on the bitter side. However, the coffee is very smooth and rich, the website has plenty of recipes for different styles such as mocha where they suggest a square of dark chocolate at the bottom of a cup before using a pod. The Price: I think the cost of the machine is very reasonable for what you get, the pods are on the expensive side however, if you are a regular coffee shop drinker this machine would save you a fortune and still give you delicious coffee, especially in the times we are in at the moment where staying at home is good.
