This is a great TV. Sound for a flat screen tv is impressive. Picture for the most part is good, although extra ''modes'' particularly sport would be beneficial. Motion handling is good, but probably no better than on my previous tv a Sony KD-55A. A bit disappointing that there hasn''t been an obvious improvement over that 5 year period. Hopefully the screen will last longer on this model than the last one. It ''packed up'' (and couldn''t be repaired/replaced) just after the warranty expired

We did buy it about a month ago we are very glad we did it is a quality television not only in design but the quality of sound picture quality and colour on screen ????

Highly recommend the XR-55A80L. Always purchased Sony and this TV did not disappoint.

Bought to upgrade and replace excellent Sharp TV (15 years old) never thought the difference would be so obvious. Great sound and the vision is so much better ( well beyond what I already thought was excellent from my old Sharp)

Amazing picture with perfect blacks and the buit in sound in the screen really is amazing to hear it hits you fully rather than sound coming from the bottom or underneath as most tvs do The interface as updated and works great and navigating through the menu is smooth and fast overall great tv from Sony had Sony tvs for over 20 years and will probably buy them for the next 20 plus years

I bought this 2 weeks ago and I am so pleased with the quality and Amazing Pictures on screen The Sound is Great and everything else in the TV Such a difference from normal TVs

The picture quality is very good but it is very frustrating that there does not seem to be any instructions either on screen or on line. Connections are very difficult to access when wall mounted.

Clear picture and very easy to set up. Really happy with my purchase.
